Eighteen

It's been three months. Yet you still hadn't woken up. However, Hyunjin never gave up on you. He believed you would come back to him. He wanted there to be a miracle. He didn't want to lose you. He would wait an eternity for you. He missed you even if he was next to you. He wanted to hear your voice. He talked to you and told everything that has been happening. He was still on hiatus. The members and fans understood.

Hyunjin held your hand, choking back tears, "Everything is starting to feel different. I can't be happy without you. Please. Please, find your way back to me."

Your doctor suddenly came in and Hyunjin wiped away the tears that managed to fall down his cheeks. He managed a smile as your doctor greeted him. Hyunjin watches as your doctor checks up on you.

"I'm glad to see you're still waiting for her." Your doctor smiles. "Many people don't usually wait this long."

"Well, I'm not like them. She's changed my world so much that I cannot just wait for her. I know she'll wake up. I don't know when but I hope it's soon."

"Keep believing. That's all you can do right now."

Your doctor leaves, leaving Hyunjin feeling a wave of emotions come over him. He holds your hand and puts it up to his cheek as he starts to sob. This was starting to get difficult for him. But he promised himself no matter how hard it gets for him he will stay by your side.

Hyunjin freezes, feeling your hand he was holding move. He thinks he imagined it. He sniffs, looking at you. He sees your eyes moving which causes his eyes to widen. He couldn't believe it.

"Y/n, Princess. Can you hear me?" He says quickly.

Your eyes open but they close again once the bright light in the room hits your eyes. You slowly open them up again, staring up at the ceiling. Hyunjin's heart started pounding against his chest. He wanted to cry again. He was so happy. Your eyes then move to Hyunjin. Your heart started beating quickly, seeing him in front of you.

"Hyunjin..." Your voice sounds weak.

"Hi Princess. I'm right here." He smiles.

"What happened? Why am I in the hospital? What about our wedding-" You stop, remembering everything. "Where's Liam? Is he okay?"

"I will explain everything, I promise. Right now I'm going to call for someone so they can check up on you, okay? I'll be right here the whole time."

Hyunjin went out of your room quickly and called for someone. A nurse came into the room shortly with Hyunjin. Eventually your doctor came into your room as well. They did some tests on you which took almost about an hour. Hyunjin, like he promised, stayed by your side the whole time. Hyunjin had also informed Mina and the members about you waking up. They were already on their way to the hospital.

The nurse and your doctor left the room after finishing up all the tests on you. They wanted to keep you in the hospital for a little while longer just to observe you. Because after all you were not only in a severe car accident but in a coma for three months. You look at Hyunjin who was having a hard time keeping his eyes off you. You used one hand and cupped his cheek. He holds onto your hand and you smile at him.

"I knew you'd come back to me."

Hyunjin pulls out your engagement ring out of his pocket and slides it onto your finger. You frown remembering you still had yet to marry Hyunjin. You almost did but then all of this happened.

"Is the wedding still happening?" You ask.

"Of course it is. When you're ready, we will get married. That's my one wish." He kisses your hand.
