I'm Not Like Him | Hwang Hyunjin

Fourteen

When you woke up the next morning Mina was already up. She had made breakfast for the both of you. It shocked you since she looked perfectly fine considering she was wasted last night. You both ate and Mina tried to talk about other things besides your wedding. She knew you were nervous. She could see it in your face.

After breakfast Mina showered first and then afterwards you showered. You were wearing a robe that Mina had gotten for you. She had a matching one on. Mina was in her bedroom using a blow dryer to dry her hair. When you entered her room you sat down on her bed, watching her. Mina curled her hair and put on makeup before putting on her dress.

Mina walks over to you, making you sit down in front of her vanity in the chair so she could do your hair. She used the blow dryer and then started curling your hair afterwards. As she was curling your hair she grabbed her phone and started playing music for you both to jam to. She got right to work with your makeup as soon as your hair was done. As she was putting the finishing touches of makeup on you she smiled big at you.

"Oh Y/n! You look gorgeous already and you haven't even put your dress on yet." Mina tears up.

"Don't cry just yet, Mina. I haven't even walked down the aisle yet." You laugh.

She holds back her tears as she puts away the curling iron and makeup. She then walks out of your room and comes back in a moment later, holding your wedding dress. Looking at your dress you got extremely anxious. She places your dress down carefully on her bed and goes over to you. She holds you by your shoulders and squeezes them.

"Are you okay?" She asks, worried. You nod.

"It's just wedding jitters." You admit.

"Trust me, everything will go perfectly fine. Seungmin and I won't let anything bad happen today. It's yours and Hyunjin's special day."

You let out a smile as Mina grabs your dress and takes the covering off it. She holds it out, showing you. You nod your head letting her know you're ready for the dress. She helps you put your dress on and helps with your shoes also. When everything is done she makes you stand in front of the vanity and you stare at yourself.

"You're breathtaking, Y/n." Mina giggles.

"Hopefully Hyunjin won't faint seeing you."

You both turn your heads to see Seungmin in his suit, standing in the doorway. You and Mina both laugh. Seungmin walks over to you and you hold out your arms as you hug him.

"Is everyone ready at the dorm?" Mina asks.

"Well, yes, partly everyone." Seungmin sighs.

"What does that mean?" You raise an eyebrow.

"As I was leaving to head here, there was chaos there. They couldn't find Hyunjin's suit. Then Jisung couldn't find the rings."

You shake your head as you let out the biggest sigh. Seungmin explains that they called him telling him that everything eventually cooled down. They found Hyunjin's suit and he got dressed. And Han did find the rings he just forgot where they were.

"Wow Seungmin if any other girls were gonna be there then you would definitely catch their eye." You laugh.

"Come on, let's get going or else Hyunjin will freak out and think you ran away."

Arriving at the venue the three of you quickly head inside. Seungmin and Mina help to make sure you don't trip over your dress or ruin it. You had to wait for Hyunjin's groomsmen. You had come up with the idea to have a first look with the groomsmen. They all thought, including Hyunjin, that it was a great idea. Mina brought you into a room so you could sit down while Seungmin went to go get them.

Seungmin came back into the room a little while later. It was Jisung, Felix, and Jeongin who had walked in right behind Seungmin. You stood up staring at them. They looked shocked seeing you. Jisung had even put his hand over his heart. Mina laughed at their reactions while you smiled.

"Y/n! Oh my god!" Jisung shouts.

The three of them exclaim how pretty you looked. You laughed and held out your arms towards them, wanting to hug them. Felix was the first one to hug you. Then Jisung and Jeongin hugged you at the same time.

"I've never seen someone and gotten goosebumps before." Jeongin smiles.

The four of you gathered up and took pictures together. Seungmin had been recording the whole thing the entire time while Mina took pictures. You then took some pictures with Mina and Seungmin too. Jisung, Felix, and Jeongin then wave goodbye to you healing off to their place. The wedding was about to start soon. Butterflies formed in your stomach and you felt even more nervous than before but you knew once you see Hyunjin all your nerves will go away.

Mina handed you your flower bouquet and she nodded at you, telling you the ceremony was about to start. Hyunjin was nervous too. Jisung was trying to calm him down. As he stands waiting any moment for Mina and Seungmin he sees an older man walk in. The rest of the members noticed him too.

"Hey, who's the old guy?" Jisung whispers to Hyunjin.

"He doesn't seem that old. Chan hyung is the old one here." Jeongin says. Chan loudly sighs.

"That's... Y/n's father." Hyunjin smiles.

"What? But... How is he here now?" Felix asks.

"I invited him."

All of a sudden Seungmin bursts into the room. Mina wasn't behind him which made everyone confused. Seungmin walks over to Chan quickly and then they both walk out of the room making everyone even more confused. A few moments later Mina runs into the room with Chan and Seungmin behind her. She was almost in tears.

"The bride's missing."

Everyone's eyes widened and their mouths dropped open. Minho and Changbin stood up from where they were sitting and stared at her. Hyunjin's parents gasp and quickly stand up too.

"What? What do you mean she's missing?" Hyunjin questions.

"Seungmin and I were about to walk out when I forgot to grab something. I went back into the room and Y/n was no longer in the room. Her flower bouquet was in the middle of the floor. We searched everywhere possible for her here. Chan even helped us look. We can't find her. She's gone."

Hyunjin paled as his breath started hitching.

"Hyunjin, sit down before you collapse." Chan ordered.

Chan, Mina, and Seungmin ran up to them as Minho and Jisung got Hyunjin to sit down. Minho turned around to look at your father who was still sitting down but on the verge of tears. He looked very worried.

"Y/n's... dad is sitting back there still. We have to do something." Minho says.

"Should we call the police?" Changbin asks.

"What if she ran away?" Hyunjin sighs.

"What? No, no. Don't say that! There's no way she would've run away like that. She loves you Hyunjin." Mina frowns.

"What do you mean the bride is missing? Where is my daughter?" Your dad asks, walking up to them.

"Sir, um... Could you come with me please?" Minho asks.

Your dad looked angry. But he agreed to go with Minho. Minho walked with him out of the venue to talk with him. Hyunjin's parents rushed over to Hyunjin.

"Is she really gone? Where could she have gone?" Hyunjin's mother asks, sitting next to Hyunjin.

"I don't understand why she would just disappear like this. It's not like her." Hyunjin frowns.

"We will find her, Hyunjin." Chan says.

They spent hours trying to find you or any sign of where you could've gone. They texted and called you so many times but never got a response from you. They were so worried. They were hoping nothing bad had happened to you. They just hoped everywhere you were you were safe.

When Minho took your father away he lied to your father. The only reason why he lied was so your father wouldn't have to worry. He told your father that it was a joke and that you just weren't ready to get married yet. Minho said the wedding was postponed. Your father somehow managed to believe his words.
