"What do you mean she is gone?"

Who could of taken Eva? More importantly, what do they plan on doing with her. I was lost in thought and I was worried for all the possibilities that Eva could get hut.

An arrow got shot through the window hitting the door fram. Everyone jumped in surprise. I got out of bed and took off the envelope that was attached to the arrow.

"What the hell?"

"What is it? Who would send a letter on a arrow?" Angie questioned.

I opened the envelope and pulled out the letter.

"Dear miss Hatmanu,

I'm sure you will want to save the child givin that your family has a history with saving people.

If you wish to save dear little Eva, you are to meet me in the Maidens Square at night alone.

Perhaps we can make a deal for the child's life. If you don't come alone I will insure that the child will end up in the afterlife.

Sincerely, Robert Jackson."

I flipped the paper between my pointer finger and middle finger. And I knew I had a annoyed look on my face.

"Why is that our only option?" Angie said crossing her little arms.

"Probably because Y/n is of great importance to whoever the hell Robert Jackson is." Miranda said.

"I'll go then."

"What!!! Absolutely not!" Donna spoke up.

I flinched at Donna's sudden outburst.

"Holy shit you didn't need to yell!"

Miranda gave Donna a look of confusion.

"Donna dear? I don't think I ever heard you be so concerned for someone. Is there something you want to share?" Miranda asked Donna walking up to her.

Donna shook her head.

"Y/n is a good friend. Nothing more."

Donna's words actually hurt me. I was only a good friend to her? I rubbed my arm as Miranda took another step towards Donna.

"I don't believe that so just keep telling yourself that. You will end up regretting it." Miranda said backing away.

Miranda turned to me and had a serious look on her face.

"This choice is entirely up to you. If you actually go we will find a way to help you." Miranda said.

"Mother!" Donna said angry.

I lifted up Donna's veil and put my finger on her lips.

"It's all right. I'm a big girl I can handle myself. I've been on many missions that have had me kidnapped and such. This is nothing new to me even though this person seems to know my family. I don't have a family, Miranda does and one of them is missing. I'll be fine."

Donna had the look of surprise on her face. Fair enough since I'm sure she wasn't expecting me to do something like this.

"Welk then, I wasn't expecting you to do that Y/n." Miranda said with the same look that Donna had.

I let go of Donna's veil and turned to the door.

"I'll see you around, Donna."

I left and while walking Down the stairs I heard Miranda tell Donna that I had a Intrest in her. Which Miranda wasn't wrong, Donna was definitely growing on me way more than what I care to admit.

Now I know it wasn't night yet but I killed time by just looking down at the village. Once night fell I made my way to the Maidens Square. I leand on the statue and closed my eye waiting for something to happen. A few minutes passed and I heard crunching leaves.

I opened my eye to see that man with dirty blonde hair.

"I'm assuming you are Robert Jackson?"

The man let out a low laugh.

"No honey, I'm Devon Willis. And I'm here to give you Eva back." Devon said moving aside.

Eva noticed me and ran over to me. Eva was crying into my waist and hugging me to death.

"Now was the letter said, you are you come with us." Devon said.

"Yes, I will come with you but I need to see that Eva gets to her mother safe."

"Deal." Devon smirked.

Devon followed Eva and I back to Donna's house. I told Eva whom also had a eyepatch over her eye to go to the house. Eve gave me a worried look but nodded and ran in.

I turned to Devon who was smiling at me.

"Let's go shall we get going miss Hatmanu?" Devon asked.

I nodded and followed Devon into the darkness.

Throw anything at me it won't bother me. However if you push me I won't hesitate to bite.
