Donna took a seat next to me.

"What is it that you want to talk about?" Donna asked and Angie sat in Donna's lap.

I rubbed my arms and kind of just hugged myself.

"I say I'm not really afraid of anything but if I'm being honest meeting the one who made me like this does. Plus, me getting unstable makes me afraid of myself. Because of an incident I have chosen to be alone and only work with people for short amount of times."

I was expecting Angie to burst out laughing but no. She was quiet as a mouse. Donna took off her veil and sat it next to her.

"Well, I wasn't expecting that at all, but I get where you are coming from. I'm sure it's hard for you to control your abilities at times. I know I have had that trouble. Hell, so have the others and Mother Miranda herself. But I must ask, why do you feel the need to act so tough all the time?" Donna said.

"I don't act tough all the time."

"Oookay. Yes, you do. You have a strong desire to protect people and not show any weakness. Something must have happened for you to want to act that way." Donna said.

"You don't have to worry about us judging you Y/n." Angie said trying to reassure me.

"I mean, it's something I don't really want to talk about."

"Well, if it's bothering you, you need to tell me. It's not good keeping thing in." Donna said.

"Like you're one to talk."

Donna flinched back a bit. She knew what I meant as well.

"Anyway, I'm getting hungry and after I eat, I need to start tracking down Adam and the group of idiots."

"Wait what? Why are you doing that so soon? I thought Robert was going to take care of it?" Donna asked.

"Even if he is I still want to kill Adam for doing this to me and he killed my parents."

"I understand." Donna said getting up.

So that was the plan. Danna made me something to eat even though I didn't ask her to make it, but she did it anyway. I thanked her for it, and I was using my abilities to try and see if I can pinpoint them.

I still wondered why I can't see out of my right eye. And why did the same thing happen to Eva?

"Y/n!"

I jumped at the sudden loud voice behind me. I turned around to see Eva. I placed my hand over my chest.

"Oh my God Eva. You about gave me a heart attack!"

Eva giggled.

"Sorry miss Y/n."

I smiled.

"It's alright but what are you doing here?"

"Mother was done talking to Uncle Karl and now she is here to talk to Auntie Donna!" Eva said.

"Did Karl call Miranda or did she go to him?"

"Oh, mother went to him! Apparently there have been shady looking people lurking on the outskirts of the village." Eva said.

"Shady looking people?"

"Yeah! One of them who I believe was a woman took one of the villagers!' Eva said flailing her arms around.

A woman?

"I see. Well, I'll keep an eye out."

"You know it's weird that we both lost our eyesight in the opposite eyes. If I want, I can see what you see, and I can see where you are. Mother said both of this happened to us at the same time that one night. I wonder why we are connected." Eva said playing with my hair.

Eva did have a very good point. It was very odd that we lost our sight at the same time. Since Eva was here, I can't do what I was going to do since it would probably scare her.

"So, Eva, what do you want to do? It's been a bit since we were together."

"I just want to be with you until mother is done talking to Auntie Donna!" Eva said.

"Okay then. So, what do you want to talk about?"

"Oh! Is it true that you and Auntie Donna are together?" Eva asked.

My blood went cold.

"Where did you hear about that?"

"Uncle Karl was mumbling to himself and when mother asked him what was wrong, he told her that you and Auntie Donna were together!" Eva said.

Oh, I'm going to kill him once I get my hands on him!

"Is that so. So how have you been?"

"I've been doing good!" Eva beamed.

Suddenly I heard glass shattering and Donna screaming. I went downstairs with Eva following close behind. Once we got to the living room a window was broken and Donna, Angie, and Miranda where nowhere to be found.

What just happened?
