Before we left, I grabbed Shelly hand she snuggled into my hoodie like she always dose.

"Do you take Shelly with you everywhere you go?" Donna asked as we were walking down the path that led to the village.

"I mean Before I got to the village, I got Shelly and I've kept her with me since until a few days ago. So, I guess?"

"Fair enough." Donna giggled.

"So, Donna I must ask, what happened when Eva disappeared? Or do you not know?"

"We all were asleep and then Mother Miranda called us and told us to meet her in the underground Chapple. She was very panicked and worried. Mother Miranda sounded like she was going to have a heart attack. We all met up and that's when she told us Eva was taken and for a good week and a half and we couldn't find her. Then you showed up with Eva and Mother Miranda was overjoyed. Unfortunately, you caused some arguments among the other lords. Mother Miranda just told them to shut up." Donna said.

"How did I cause that?"

"You were the one to find Eva and they could not. I personally didn't care who found her as long as Eva was safe. But then again, sibling rivalry is a very common thing in this family. And it can be very dangerous." Donna said.

"Okay..."

I'm happy that she was being honest with me. Donna held Angie in one hand and Donna hooked are arms together as we started to walk through out the village.

"Is there some reason why we have our arms hooked together?"

Donna lead over and whispered to me.

"If I don't the villagers will find you suspicious and try and find a way to kill you. By me doing this it tells them that you are someone of great importance to me."

That makes sense, I guess. While we were walking a lot of people and child noticed us and seemed surprised that Donna was out and about. A lot of children came up to us and asked 100 question and Angie was happy to answer them all. One child, a girl around 5 or so asked if I was Donna's partner.

Donna didn't know what to say to that and the villagers were watching and listing. Donna was starting to shake a bit out of nervousness. I decided to say something, and I hoped that Donna plays along.

"Yes, I'm Donna's partner and I may an outsider to you all, but I have family ties here."

Donna seemed surprised that I said that, but she picked up on what I was doing.

"Yes, Y/n here has family ties here she is a part of a family of old." Donna said.

So many people gasped and stated whispering. Many said there were hardly any people related to families of old in the village. The villagers seemed more at ease knowing that I belong here, and I've earned the love and affection from Donna. During our walk Donna also decided to give me a tour around the village. A woman gave Donna and I matching necklaces as a gift for us, and someone gave us some roses.

Many more people gave Donna and I gifts. Donna told me it was normal for the villagers to give Mother Miranda and the lords gifts. Donna did mention that we are getting a lot of gifts because they think we are together. Which I must admit her saying "We are together." Made my heart flutter.

I didn't realize that I liked Donna that much. The more I thought about it the more I got flustered that we are on a date walk and I agreed without question.

"Y/n? Earth to Y/n?" Donna said waving her hand in front of my face.

"Ahh, sorry. I was lost in thought."

"You are blushing as well! What were you thinking about?" Angie asked.

I shook my head.

"Don't worry about it. It was something silly."

I could feel Donna looking at me and it was kind of unsettling.

"We can talk about it once we get home. I won't have you talk about it in the open if you are uncomfortable about it." Donna said softly.

I smiled and we continued our walk throughout the village. On that walk we ran into Karl and that made me get a bad feeling.

"Well, I wasn't expecting to see you two wandering around." Karl said.

"What do you want cowboy? Donna and Y/n are busy." Angie said rather annoyed.

Karl scowled at the name Angie called him.

"Yeah, you both seem real busy being lovebirds." Karl snapped.

"What's that supposed to mean!?" Donna said pissed off.

Karl smirked knowing that he got under her skin.

"I mean you two are the talk of the village that you are partners." Karl said in a teasing tone.

"So odd that you decided to get together." Karl added.

"Fuck off." Donna growled.

This was the first time I've heard Donna so angry.

"The fact that you get so upset over me knowing this means you acutely do love Y/n." Karl said crossing his arms.

Donna dug her nails into the palm of her hand and squeezed Angie tightly.

"Are you going to hit me? We both know you can't win against me." Karl said.

Donna was about to lose her shit with her little brother.

"Okay enough!"

Donna and Karl looked at me.

"Karl, stop provoking Donna and Donna calm down and Don't let Karl get to you. And I know I'm not your mother BUT I won't hesitate to complain to Miranda about this. And you are right Karl, Donna isn't going to win against you, but I can. So just back off and call it a night."

Karl snickered.

"You think you can win against me?"

"Don't. Test. Me. Boy."

Karl flinched at my sudden voice change. I grabbed Donna's hand and we went back home. Shelly was sound asleep and once we got home, I placed her in her bed that Angie made for her. Donna placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Yes?"

"Very brave of you to say that to Karl." Donna said.

"I'm not afraid of any of you if I'm being honest."

...

"Donna? Can I talk to you about something?"
