Guene first went to Skyler Roben during interigation Guene found Skyler has a new job as a cell tower technician. During the interigation with Adam Abdullah he found Adam works in a morgue and found he recently got his credit card cut by the bank teller that died, But that was the only connection to any of the victims.

During the  interigation with Ray Clinton he found he didn't like to talk about his time working for his dad or the Murder victims leading Guene to believe he has some connections to the victims some way and the random fires in houses seeing he doesn't want to talk about his dads Company.

Guene believes that Ray and Adam are working together seeing ray gets more money the more bodies there are but ray is the perfect person to murder these people he doesn't like. He also has the perfect engineering mind to build the devices it was also found at Clinton Industries Ray and Adam were lab partners in the engineering department and in college making them the perfect team.
