Werewolf Twins

Chapter 9

Allie P.O.V.

It was finally our birthday and I was feeling nervous, I glanced at Jackie and I could tell she felt the same, today we would turn into werewolves. I saw her hands shaking and could hear her heart pounding loudly. I reached for her hand and took it in mine and gave her a hug. "It will be okay plus we have each other and together we can make it through anything." I whispered. She smiled and hugged me back and I could hear her heart slow a little bit. We had decided to do a sleep over at her house and just spend the last night together before everything got totally hectic. We were waiting to go down stairs, the protectors told us we needed to stay up here until they said to come down but we had been waiting for 3 hours since we woke up and I was starving. Finally we hear the word quietly say "Come." from down stairs. We both stood up, hand in hand and walked out of her room. Once we got down the stairs, on the table there were two giant steaks sitting there, raw as possible. Then I saw a sharp knife sit there, I looked over at Jackie with wide eyes and saw her looking as terrified as I felt. The four of them stood there solemnly except for Jackie's dad who had a comforting smile on his face making me relax a little. Her dad was always nice, he was like a Dad to me. My parents I don't even think wanted children, my mother has never once said she loved me and I am no daddy's girl they are just in to do the alpha's orders, just to take care of me. "Today you will be tested on speed, strength, smell, hear, and sight, and any other powers besides the mind reading." My mother said sternly. "What is the meat and knife for?" I asked shakily. "This knife is just to test your healing process, don't worry it will only hurt a little and the meat you are going to eat, you will be surprised to find that you like it." Jackie's dad said with a wink.  My father picked up the knife and walked briskly to us. I quickly shrank away but he yanked my wrist out and slit my flesh with the sharp knife and quickly did the same to Jackie who winced a little. In a matter of seconds they were all healed up like nothing had happened. "You two heal a little faster than a regular were wolf it seems." my mother said with a small smile on her lips. "Now for the food." I stepped hesitantly towards the chunk of meat and inhaled. Immediately I could smell the amazing scent and heard my stomach growl loudly. I swiped the meat away, feeling this new hunger for the first time, and began sinking my teeth deep into the tender meat. Juices exploded in my mouth with flavor as I gorged the entire thing in 40 seconds flat. I felt something sharp on each side of my mouth and reached up to feel long pointy canines and glanced at Jackie's which were just as long. It made us look vicious and terrifying. We both finished and had another piece before anything else happend. "We will head to the woods now and begin the rest of your tests." they all said

**Later in the forest**

"We will start with a running test to see your speeds." my mother declared. They showed us the boundaries and told us what to do. My mom took off on the direction of our finishing point as someone screamed "Ready set GO!" We took off at full speed running faster than the world's fastest human. I could feel the wind whipping past my face and my hair flying effortlessly as I bolted through the trees. Finally I saw my mother up ahead with her hands in the air. I flew past her and skidded into a tree, knocking it flat to the ground. I felt my nose crack as I hit the tree and saw the blood flying out. Crap I thought, but then I remembered I had super healing and in a few seconds it looked like nothing happened. I trotted over to my mom who was beaming at me proudly "You are even faster than a regular were wolf." she said Suddenly I realized that Jackie wasn't there. "Where is Jackie?" I asked "Oh she did the same thing you did and crashed but she is heading back now, put your nose in the air and sniff. You can smell her scent and she is heading over now." I put my nose in the air and sniffed. I could smell the trees, grass, leaves, the dew, and also 5 were wolf other scents besides mine. The one that was Jackie's was easy to tell because it was similar to my own "Can you smell?" my mom asked. I nodded just as I saw Jackie walk through the clearing. "What about Jackie, how fast is she?" "She is like a regular wolf in her speed." The other three protectors trotted though the clearing with a grin on their faces and clapping to congratulate me. "Good Job, we need to move on so we will go to strength." they said. Jackie's dad walked up, rubbing his hands together and said "Ok look for the biggest tree you can find and do whatever you can to break it." I jogged through the trees looking at all of them carefully till I found a massive tree about 8 feet wide and who knows how tall. I swung my leg up and around to the tree and gave a powerful blow, sending it fly backwards as it crashed. I felt the adrenaline rushing through my veins at seeing how powerful I truly was. I could easily snap a human like they were a little stick. I shuddered at thought of hurting someone. snap. I whipped my head up sniffing the air as I saw Jackie's dad walk up and relaxed a little. He put his hand on my shoulder while looking at the tree laying on the forest floor. "You are amazing Jackie, good job." he said proudly. I giggled quietly and whispered "I'm not Jackie." he gave me a shocked face and laughed "Well Good Job Allie." then he turned serious again and said "You are like a daughter to me, both of you are and I wanted to keep the both of you when you were younger but it was safer to keep you separate." he pulled me in for a hug as Jackie jogged up. She jut her lip out and whined "I want a hug too." we both chuckled as he pulled both of us into a big bear hug. We met up with the rest and decided to go ahead and head home and get ready for Jackie and I's were wolf turning. " We have a surprise for you guys." Jackie's dad said mysteriously. "What is it?" we said in unison. "Hey you aren't supposed to tell them." my mom snapped. "Please tell us!?" we begged "No." she replied. I opened up my mind reading and tried to read her thoughts and all the rest but they were all blocking by singing a song in another language. Jackie's thoughts were also reading their minds so I decided to tell her that we were gonna run off till they said they would tell us. She heard my plan and grabbed my hand as we bolted away. "You know we can smell your sent and find you, smart ones!" Jackie's dad shouted. Crud. I tightly gripped Jackie's hand and ran faster since I was faster than all 5 of them. Jackie snickered, knowing what I was thinking of. I laughed as we ran, her being half dragged and me running extremely fast. We skidded to a stop and waited for them to catch up. Once they did, we took off again, roaring with laughter while they all groaned. "We will tell you!" they all shouted. We stopped and ran back with grins on our faces. "Ok, you are going to meet your real mom before you turn." I gasped "We never even asked or thought of her!" I shouted. Jackie shrieked and grabbed my hands and jumped up and down like a little girl. I laughed and played along "Yay! mommy!" We stopped and looked over the four grown ups who were giving us looks like we were mentally insane which only made us roll on the ground with laughter and tears in our eyes. Finally when we could stop laughing we jumped up and hug each one of them. "Thank you guys so much." we said. We ran all the way home to meet our mom for the first time.
