Chapter 4

Allie's P.O.V

I hear my alarm go off so I slap the stupid thing and groan. Yesterday was a long and exciting day I found out I have an identical twin sister, we don't know who our real parents are . We both thought we were with our biological parents until now. We decided I wouldn't tell my parents yet and her dad already knew when he saw us ditch school and end up at Starbucks. I slowly got out of bed and trudged my way down stairs for breakfast. I grabbed an apple, toast and cooked some bacon,no one else was up yet since I wake up 5 am every morning to run, take a shower and go to school. Soon I finished and trudged slowly upstairs and into my room. I pulled on some shorts and a tank top and toppled my hair into a messy pony tail, I grabbed my phone and saw I had a missed call from Jackie. I dialed her number it rang and rang and she didn't pick up, I headed outside and started stretching and soon my phone buzzed, it was Jackie. "You are up early." I say. on the other end I hear silence. "hello? Jackie?" she whispered into the phone "My mom is here and they are down stairs discussing something important so I started eaves dropping and you want to know what I heard?" "ya." I replied. "here is what they said dad: I contacted Allie's protectors and let them know why we came a little early and they were fine with it, I told them about them finding each other. Mom: Good and don't you think we should all tell them sooner than their birthdays? To give them time to process all that information?. Dad: Well it is tradition to wait but I think this case is exceptional considering the danger they are already going to start facing, I will ask Allie's protectors. Mom: maybe they should miss school today to discuss it all now?" Dad: No they ditched yesterday, they shouldn't ditch anymore because if someone is here already it might raise suspicion and also yesterday when I found them ditching, Jackie was really mad for separating them. Mom: Yes or they think that they are newfound twins who don't know anything and are out having fun together like normal teenagers and yes I don't blame her but it was so that if one was found then at least one would live instead of both the daughters of the alpha wouldn't die. We are their protectors and we will do what it takes to keep them safe and keep the Alpha's word. Then after that I ran upstairs and called you earlier but- I hear someone I got to go." she quickly said " Hang on Jackie I will be over there in 5 minutes." I hung up and did a fast pace jog, we were only 3 blocks away from each other and last night we showed each other were we lived. What was all this about? The alpha? Them being out "protectors?" soon I arrived at Jackie's house and climbed to the roof where her bedroom window was. I peeked through and saw her Dad come in and say something then the two of them walked out. I slid the window open and jumped through. Silently I crept down the stairs to where they were talking. Dad: We have some serious things to talk about with you, your sister and her parents, we called them and they are coming over and you two are skipping school." Jackie nodded. the mom then said Allie you can come in. "How did you know I was here?" I asked Surprised. She smiled and said you will find out today. Jackie glanced at me like what the heck and I mirrored her expression. Jackie's dad walked to the door and opened it and as if on cue my parents walked in. They had solemn expressions on their face and Jackie's dad whispered "There is no need to get them scared lighten up a little." They came in smiling and all sat around the living room and gestured the twins to take a seat some where. Allie and Jackie could tell this was really serious and glanced nervously. They sat down on a couch together and Jackie grabbed Allie's hand nervously and Allie was grateful she did because she didn't think she was ready to hear what they had to say.
