Chapter 6

Jackie's P.O.V.

"Just remember act normal and nothing is wrong." Allie said on the other line, "Got it." I said. In a bubbly voice Allie squealed " Today is the day we tell everyone about us and you get to meet my friends and especially Keegan so you can tell me what you think!" I chuckled and said "Hey I got to get ready see you at school, love you sis." "Ok bye." she replied. I went to my wardrobe and picked out a blue t-shirt, skinny jeans and my converse and walked to the mirror and applied a little bit of eye liner and some mascara. I grabbed my bag and phone and jumped into my dads car and we headed out. "Pretend everything Is normal to protect you and your sister and even though your not my biological daughter, I have raised you for sixteen years and I love you." my dad said in a concerned voice. I sighed "Alright dad, I know because everyone is telling me that." and with a smile I hopped out of the car and said "Bye daddy." I headed to my first class and sat down next to a girl with pretty blonde hair "Hi I am Grey." she greeted. I smiled and thought be normal "Hi I am Jackie." I said in a bubbly voice. I looked over at her curious face "Is there something you want to ask me?" I questioned. I saw her face relax and say " So what's up with this whole thing with you and Allie?" "We are identical twin sisters." she smiled and replied " That is so cool you found each other, why were you separated?" Just then class started and I thought saved by the teacher. I headed to art and found Allie there so I went and sat by her and every body stared at us with their mouths dropped to the floor so we both just smiled and ignored them. "Let me see your schedule." Allie said. I handed it to her and watched her look over it.  "Lets see we have second, third, fifth, sixth and eighth together." she says. "Perfect." I say with a smile.

Later at lunch Allie introduced me to Ella. "HI I am Ella, it is so cool that you guys are twins especially since it happened to my best friend and new best friend!' She squeezed us into a hug and I said "I am Jackie." I looked at the about 5'5 black hair and brown hair girl and gave her a smile. She frowned and said "You aren't much of a talker?" Allie laughed and said " She Is but she doesn't talk as much as you, no one does." Then a cute boy walked up and said "Um who is Allie and who is Jackie, you guys look exactly the same, this is going to be hard." Allie and I laughed and she gave me a knowing smile. Allie said " I am Jackie!" and gave him a big goofy grin. "and I am Allie, silly." and he looked relieved and said "Ok." Ella, Allie, and I burst out laughing and he gave us a confused look. Allie swatted him lightly on the shoulder and said " I am your beloved Allie and this is Jackie." I smiled at him but he just gave us a suspicious smile which only made us laugh more. "You guys are so weird." he said with a laugh. Then the tardy bell rang and we all rushed off and Allie and I walked to math and more mouths dropped, like they have done all day. We looked for a place to sit and found two seats in the middle and sat down. I looked up and found the most incredible guy look up and at me. He had beautiful blue eyes that I could drowned in and brown ruffled hair and smelled so good, I felt the breath sucked out of me and my heart speed up along with butter flies swirling in my stomach. " Hey I am Noah, I bet your Jackie." I started having a cough attack and Allie looked over to see and saw what was happening so she distracted Noah by saying " Hey Noah when is that Indian project due?" Finally I stopped coughing and he said " Oh Friday." he smiled then looked back at me " Sorry." I blushed " Ya I am Jackie, how can you tell?" I gave him a big smile and he smiled back, o my gosh he was so hot. " I am not sure you just seemed like Jackie, hey do you have your schedule? Maybe we have another class together." I handed it to him and watched his blue eyes scan the schedule and said " Yup we have the next class too." I smiled "Sweet, where is that at." he smiled back and said " I can show you, will you walk with me?" did he ask me to walk with him? o my gosh yay but I am so nervous around him I will probably trip. "Totally." I say, he smiled then the teacher started talking and Allie looked me all crazy and excited and whispered " JACKIE, maybe you just found your self a boy friend soon." "He doesn't like me Allie but we need to get things moving with you and Keegan." I reply she looked at me like I was blind " Are you kidding, you two were making googly eyes and grinning like maniacs." I laugh out loud and the teacher glares at me and told us to keep quiet. I was so nervous to walk with Noah yet so excited. I watched the clock tick slowly till finally the bell rang "Bye sis, see you in eighth good luck." Allie says with a smile. I walk out with Noah, concentrating on not tripping when Noah says " Hey um- do you think, never mind." is he nervous? no he cant be nervous " No tell me, its ok." I say, his eyes dart around nervously and he looks so cute being nervous finally he spits it out " Ok so I know I just met you like an hour a go but you are really pretty and I really want to get to know you more, you think m-maybe we could go do something together?" I stop and stand there dumb founded, did this totally cute guy just ask me out? He got more nervous and quickly added " Never mind its ok I-I well maybe we can just be friends?" "NO!" I blurt. "I-I mean yes I want to hang out with you and I think you are really handsome I was just shocked that you actually would want to ask me out considering how good looking you are." I stop and realize what I just said. I groaned and said " Did I say that out loud?" he chuckled "Yes and so I am and handsome?" I laughed and gave him a little shove. We walk in the class and sit down together, class already started so he got a piece of note book paper and pen and we passed notes Noah: So how does tonight sound?  Me: Sure what time?  Noah: How about after school we go to the Café?" I grabbed the paper and realized the teacher quit talking. I looked up and saw everyone staring at me and the teacher right in front of me. "Would you like me to take this paper up and read it to everyone?" I felt my face go red. "No." I say. she grabs the paper and throws it in the trash and continues class. I look over at Noah who is looking at me questioningly, I think he was wondering if the Café was ok. I grinned and nodded he grin and turned to look up at the teacher talking. 

**Later in eighth with Allie**

I just explained everything to Allie who looks more excited then a monkey with a banana. "You have to tell me how it goes!" she squeals, I wince from the high pitch squeal. "Ok anything to get you to stop squealing and speaking of all this dating, I can tell you are more than crazy for Keegan we seriously need to figure something out." I say. " Hey I cant help it if my twin sister got a date and its technically only her first day!" then her face fell, "I don't want to ruin anything with him especially if he doesn't like me back-" I Interrupt " You mean love you back!" She swats me on the arm "sshhh and anyways I don't know what to do." I take her hand to comfort her " trust me we will find a way and ill try to see how he really feels about you." she smiles and says " ok and just so you know, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me." I smile back "  you are definitely the best thing that has ever happened to me too!" then the bell rings and Allie rushes me to the bathroom "What are you doing?" I ask. "Lets check your makeup and hair and everything first." I sigh even though I am excited. " Ok hurry up, I need to go meet up with Noah." she smirks at me, " What?" I question. " You look almost love sick, and I have seen him and he does to and you guys met today and I think you guys really really like each other." " aww he Is love sick? That's so sweet." I say with a pouty face and my hand clutched to my heart " Exactly." she says. After a few minutes she pushes me out the door and hugs me " Good luck sis." she says I hug her back " Thanks." I run off  to meet Noah and just as I turn a corner, I run right into him. I topple over and he catches me by the arm just before I hit the floor. " Thank you." I say shyly. He smiles and we head out. I expected that we would walk the whole way when we stop at a pick up truck. "Is this yours?' I hop in. " Ya what do you think?" I breath in the smell that smells good but I don't know what it is " Ya it smells good in here." he chuckles and puts his arm around me as we pull out. I stopped and froze, he put his arm around me? I feel like dancing, suddenly he pulls his arm away and glances out the window nervously " Sorry." he mumbles. I realize what he must've thought. " No no you can put your arm around me, in fact I like it, I just did that because I was so happy." he looked really relieved and put his arm back and I scooted closer. It was odd how comfortable I felt already with him and I actually wasn't that shy at all and considering how amazingly gorgeous he is, I should be flopping around nervously like a fish. Finally we pulled in and walked in and sat down. For awhile, we just talked about ourselves and each other and laughed and joked and then I realized how late it was. I checked my phone and saw that it was 6:30 " Holy crap!" I blurted. " What?" he said alarmed. Its already 6:30, we have been talking for two and a half hours and it has felt like 10 minutes." I said in a pout. He laughed at my pout and I jumped around the table and hugged him. First he just sat there for a minute, not even hugging me back so I froze. Did I do something wrong? I pulled back and went to sit in my seat and just as I got up he took my hand and smiled a half smile " You took me by surprise, cutie." He pulled me down and looked like he wanted to kiss me. I wanted to kiss him really bad too so I started to lean forward but then the waiter came with our check so we paid and left and I felt a little awkward and I felt that he did to and didn't know what to do so I grabbed his hand which he took. We pulled up to my house and stopped at the door and I felt that strong urge to kiss him again and I could tell he did to and as we started to lean forward again my dad sprang the door open and said " Good your home." but soon realized his mistake. He quickly walked away and we just didn't know what to do so we said good bye and I walked in. I called Allie, seeing that I had like 30 billion missed calls from her. She answered on the first ring and exploded " I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER WHAT TOOK SO LONG!!!!!!!!" " Sorry I just got home." " OOH so it went really good huh?" I sighed. " It did except twice we almost kissed and I had the strongest urge to kiss him and I knew he felt the same but both times we were interrupted." " ooo man that sucks, but you are totally going to get your chance." " Actually, I don't know because he didn't ask me on another date." she sighed " Trust me he will and actually right before you called he called me and said he forgot to ask you for your number." I gasped. " He did and how does he have your number?" " A lot of people have my number." weird " Ok well I need to go but ill see you tomorrow bye." "bye." I got a text saying "hey this is Noah." I sent a text back saying " Ya Allie just told me about that and hey." he text back immediately saying " Would you like to go on another date with me on Friday, like an official date and we can go wherever you want." " I am new I don't know anything here." " True so how about we go to the movies." " Perfect." I text. Before I knew it I fell asleep and don't remember anything else.
