Chapter 26

Jackie's P.O.V.

It'd been two weeks since I got to even talk to Noah and Allie had been really distant. My two closest people were pretty much unavailable. It sucked. "Jackie, please don't zone out on everything I say too. Allie already does that." Ellie pleaded, "Sorry, I'm not." I promised. "Do you know what is wrong with Allie?" she asked. "No, she is barely there. I can't really talk to her." I sighed. "Don't you have like mind reading powers or are mind linked or something?" "Yes, when I look in her head all I see is Keegan and the new guy Kyle." "Interesting. Well Alec is taking me on a date tonight, he kissed me last night and oh my gosh hes so romantic and-" "Ellie, you have told me this 8 times today." I groaned. "I have?" "Yes. Please don't tell me again." "Sorry maybe I keep forgetting which twin I told not that it matters. You both seem to be in a funk. You with Noah being grounded from you and Allie I have no idea. "Ya." I sighed. "I grabbed my bag just as the release bell for last period rang. "Have fun on your date." I told Ellie. "Hey you remembered!" "I wonder why." I said sarcastically. I headed to the bathrooms, desperate to wash my hands. Once I washed them and examined my self in the mirror and felt satisfied with my appearance, I stepped into the empty halls and walked down the corridor. I felt a hand grab me and pull me back. I tried to yell but who ever it was put a hand on my mouth and spun me around to face them. Noah. I grinned and pulled him into an empty room. "I have miss-" I started. He crashed his lips onto mine and kissed me hard. He ran his hands up and down my back and pushed me up against a wall while I tugged his hair making him growl sexily. He kissed me hungrily and pulled me away from the wall and set me onto a table. I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him onto the table so that he was on top of me. I pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it to the floor leaving me to feel his rock hard abs pressed against my body. We kissed some more before we decided to stop before we took it too far and lost our virginities in a school classroom. "As sexy as it sounds to stay in school and kiss you, I need to go before my parents accuse me of being with you." he said sadly. "Ok, fine but you know we should do this more often." I said grinning. "Agreed." he said returning my grin. He pulled his shirt back over his head and grabbed my waist, pulling me in for one more passionate kiss before he had to go. "I love you more than you know Jackie." he whispered while looking straight in my eyes. "No I love you more than you could ever imagine Mr.Rinns" I said with a giggle. He looked at me with a dreamy expression before walking out the door and turning around to look at me one more time. I smiled then waited for a minute in case anyone walked out and saw Noah and I leaving the room together. Now I need to talk to Allie and get to the bottom of this with her. I strolled out of school determined to help Allie.

As soon as I got home I set my bag down in my room and went straight to Allie's room. Without knocking, I went right in. She had painted her room a pretty purple a few weeks earlier while I had my room a bright blue. "Allie?" I called out. I couldn't see her anywhere. I checked in her bathroom, her walk in closet, and even under the bed. Finally I went to look in the last place she could be if she was in here. I went in her closet pushed the wall, unlocked the safe and carefully went down the stairs into the dark musty hideout. "Allie?" I whispered. No reply. "Allie, if you're in here, I really need to talk to you." Still no reply, I sighed and went back up the stairs and through the safe and out of her closet. I heard a noise in her bathroom so I headed in there and found her looking in the cabinets for something. "Lee what are you looking for?" I asked. "A flower." she replied. "Well you aren't going to find a flower in your bathroom cabinets, why don't you try looking outside." "A particular flower dumb brain." "Wow, I didn't know that flowers grow in bathroom cabinets." I said sarcastically. "No, Ok Jackie Kyle gave me a flower and said if I was ever ready to just leave it somewhere that he would find it and he would know how I felt." "How you felt?" "Jackie where have you been!" she said frustrated. "Me? No everyone has been asking me what's wrong with you because you have hardly been living in reality all week! When I try to go in your mind to see what's wrong, all I can see is Keegan and Kyle." "Want to know where I have been? Kyle is my were wolf mate and I am still with Keegan, one of my best friends since the third grade who is in love with me and all I can think about is Kyle and I cant hurt Keegan but I need to be with Kyle!" she had tears slowly starting to trickle down her cheeks. I slowly moved closer to her and wiped the tears off her cheeks. "It's ok, we will figure it out together." I whispered." Suddenly I noticed Kyle standing out side the bathroom door with an expression of pain. When he realized that I saw him, he put a finger to his lips and gave me a look as if to say please don't tell her I am here. I nodded and he slipped out the window, unseen. "I think you need to tell Keegan, you still care about him so break it to him easy." "But how?!" she cried. "He can't even tell us apart so let me do it." I begged. "I think I need to be the one to tell my best friend that loves me, it would be like an imposter in our relationship if you did it." "Alright but if you can't do it, let me know and I will do it if you want me to." she nodded her head. "If you see this flower, let me know." she gave me an image in my head what it looked like. It had blue and red vines snaking up the stem into the purple petals. I had never seen it before. "It never dies, its basically a super natural flower." she explained. I nodded my head, suddenly an idea popped in my head. "When we were kidnapped, Autumn said that we could combine into one giant were wolf if we wanted, we have invisibility, and have more powers and capabilities than any other super natural creatures ever to exist, I am sure we are able to do some kind of locating spell of some sort." I suggested. Her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. "That is absolutely brilliant!" We joined hands and had a powerful energy coursing through our veins. Instinctively we both seemed to know what to do. We let the energy burst through our veins and into our hands to combine and simply thought of the flower. Soon an image popped in our heads showing that if we checked in her desk under a stack of homework papers, it would be there. We ran out of the bathroom straight for her desk and yanked a drawer open and took all the papers out. There it was, laying at the bottom looking perfect and beautiful. Allie sighed out of relief and delicately picked it up and cradled it in her hands. "Now you need to tell Keegan first and see what happens from there then give the flower to Kyle if it all works out." she hugged me and laughed for the first time in a week and a half. "Guess what!?" I said excitedly. "What?" she asked, her eyes sparkling. I told her everything that happened with Noah in full detail and at the end of the story she jumped up and danced around acting as if it were her own mate who did that. I laughed at her then joined her in dancing.
