Jackie's P.O.V.
'We need to escape now, we don't have much time before she kills us.' Allie nodded as Autumn inserted a needle in her neck. She winced making my blood boil because she hurt my sister. "What are the chances I could go to the bathroom?" I asked. "None, im not taking chances. Pee yourself." Autumn said in a nasty tone. So much for playing nice. "Look! I don't intend on peeing myself, let me go to the bathroom." I snarled. "You can go to the bathroom.. In your pants." she said with a smirk. I tried to get up but I was heavily sedated with morphine. I rolled off the table as Autumn rushed over to me. "What do you think you are doing?" she snapped. "Going to find a bathroom." I muttered. She leaned in close to pick me up and heave me on the table. Perfect. Behind my back I had my claws out, ready for attack. In one swift motion my hand snapped out and a crossed her face leaving a bloody mark. Instinctively her hand reached up to touch her shocked looking face. "Not very smart to have a weak little human alone in a room of two twin were wolves is it?" I asked with a cocky grin. I pushed her into the table, she hit her head really hard and passed out. I stood up, my legs threatening to give out beneath me. I stumbled over to Allie. I pulled her up and tripped over a cart. "Jackie!" she screeched. "I' fine." I said calmly putting my hands up. She pulled me off the ground and picked me up bridal style. "How are you doing that? Did the drugs not kick in at all?" I asked. "I pulled the tubes out when she wasn't looking." she explained. "Smart, I should have done that." I grumbled. We quietly opened a red door and stepped inside cautiously. Allie ran across the room silently with me in her arms. We came across two heavy metal doors with a lock on it. Allie set me down and snapped the chains in half and opened the door for me. I crawled through, the morphine was already starting to wear off. I stood up not as shaky as the first time and walked beside Allie, holding onto her shoulder in case I collapsed. "Hey! Where do you think you are going?" someone shouted. We darted behind some boxes and crawled under some curtains and into a storage place. "There is a window." Allie whispered pointing. I looked over and saw a small window but maybe we could squeeze through. Behind us we heard commotions and shouting. "They went this way!" someone shouted. I leaped up on some boxes and ran to the window, busted it open with my elbow and making a siren go off. "Secure all exits!! Guard all gates!!" Someone screamed. I pulled Allie up, pushed her out the window, and jumped out after her. The fall was longer than I expected and when I made it to the ground, Allie laid there coughing and scratched up. "You could have looked how far down it was before just shoving me out head first." she growled. "I'm sorry, I heard sirens and freaked." We both jumped up and took off in a sprint away from the building. Away from all the sirens and screaming, people running around oblivious to our escape. After about 8 miles of sprinting at 50 miles an hour through the forest, we slowed to a jogging pace. "Why hasn't anyone come for us?" Allie asked. "I am sure they are, they are just way back there still." "No I mean our parents, Keegan, Noah, Nathan, all them. Why haven't they come to save us?" she asked. "I don't know." I sighed. "We need run a little faster if we want to get anywhere though, we are saving ourselves but we need to get far away from here and figure out where we are." I added. She nodded and we took off again.
*Several hours later*
"There is no end to this forest, we haven't seen any people, roads, or buildings." Allie whined. It was getting dark and soon we would have to find some shelter or somewhere to sleep, we were both exhausted. "At least we haven't been caught though." I said. "I am hungry." she complained. "You are a were wolf, you are capable of hunting." I reminded her. "I'll get us some food, you find shelter." she commanded. She ran off and I began looking for a good tree or something. Finally I found a really tall tree that over looked everything and looked high enough that you wouldn't see anyone if you looked up. I raced up the tree, using my werewolf speed and strength. Once I was near the top I realized how hard it would be to sleep on a branch without a rope or some kind of safety net. Since I didn't have anything that would work, I decided to use my claws and hollow out two holes, one for me and one for Allie. I went to some of the lower trees and grabbed piles of leaves to put in each of our 'beds'. Once it was all done, I looked around for the first time, we were completely surrounded by trees, even with were wolf seeing, all I could see were trees. I sighed and climbed down the tree. 'Allie where are you.' 'I am coming back your way with 4 rabbits.' she answered. I started a small fire about 50 feet away from the tree and made sure that the smoke didn't rise and give our spot away to all the people looking for us. "Hey." Allie said. "Hey." I took the rabbits from her, skinned them and put them over the fire to roast. She looked at me with disgust. "What?" I asked innocently. "You know how to skin a rabbit? That is cruel." "My Dad taught me and um Allie, you are the one who killed them. Now we can be monsters and eat the innocent little hopping bunnies." I said with a smirk. "Poor bunnies." she muttered. Once they were cooked and we ate them, we sat at the fire for a few more minutes for warmth. "Jackie?" she whispered. "Why are we whispering?" I whispered back. "Because, what if those dreams were true and everyone does hate us and that's why no one came for us?" "I know that none of the dreams were true. Also we don't know how long we have been here. It could have only been like two days and they have no way of knowing where we are. Ellie probably thinks we ditched her and are at home, safe and everyone else might think we are staying at Ellie's house or something." I said. I moved over to her and gave her a hug. "We are going to be okay, I promise." I pulled my jacket off and gave it to her. "Aren't you going to need that?" she asked. "No, you take it." I assured her. I killed the fire and got up and motioned for her to follow me. "Where are we going?" she whimpered. "To sleep." I replied. I climbed up the tree and waited for her to follow. I showed her, her 'bed'. "I am right under you right there." I pointed to my spot about 4 feet down. "Are they comfortable?" she asked. I shrugged and said "Hopefully." I yawned and climbed down to my spot. Before I could see if it was comfortable or not, I fell to sleep as soon as I got my tired body into the hollow.
