Werewolf Twins

Chapter 13

Allie's P.O.V.

I followed my protectors through the damp underground tunnels, determined to save my biological mother. My sister was behind me following close behind me, even as were wolves we were identical except for our eye color. I had bright green eyes that glow and she had bright neon blue. I jumped as I heard the agonizing scream come from the halls ahead of us. I ran forward, only to be held back by Jackie's dad who shook his head at me silently. We crept closer, the screaming getting louder, more painful, more unbearable. I closed my ears but the screams were shouting at me in my head. Finally we made it to a little door where the screams were coming from. I busted it down and ran through, charging at the closest creature and tackling him to the ground. Jackie ran to the machine were our mother was strapped to. I leaped up and ran to help her but before I got to her, a vampire ran to her and began viciously biting all down her neck. A high pitch shrill escaped her lips as Noah ran over to help her. I ran over to my mom and unstrapped her as quickly as I could from the torture device. She stumbled out and despite the quick healing we are supposed to have, she had blood everywhere. Redness soaked her hair and neck and she fell down weakly into my arms. I picked her up bridal style and bolted to a corner to set her down and defend her from any one who came our way. All the pack was fighting hard but there were so many of them, they out numbered us by at least double.

Miraculously we had fought most of the werewolves off but we had bodies piled up around us. The smell of blood and sweat overpowered the room making me sick to my stomach. Everything happened in slow motion afterwards. Jackie gasped loudly as the silver bullet pierced her stomach, she fell to the ground. Everyone ran towards her, the woman who shot her had a evil look of victory on her face and just as she was about to fire off another round at Jackie I snarled, pulling my lip up over my fangs. I sprinted to her and leaped in the air, taking her by surprise. Her mouth formed into a round O before I took the gun out of her hand pointing it at her forehead and shooting her. Once she was dead, I ran over to Jackie and held her hand. She was gasping for air, slowly loosing oxygen. I felt tears running down my cheeks, everyone else had tear streaked faces but Noah was close to her face pleading her to stay awake. His eyes full of concern, he kept running his hands through his hair, he was sobbing loudly. She was dying and you couldn't just take the bullet out and she'd be okay. I cried loudly realizing that I was about to loose my other half, my identical twin sister, we had a bond that went further than most people ever got to, and here I was about to loose it all, loose her. "Don't die Jackie, please st-stay you c-ca-can't die!" I sobbed. By now Noah and I were both leaning close to her begging for her to stay awake a little longer. Her Dad was crying at the sidelines, the rest of the protectors were watching sadly and each crying while our mother sat in the corner passed out. I couldn't handle it, I couldn't loose her I won't let it happen. Everything got blurry but it felt natural along with my body glowing brightly. I pressed my hands to the bullet wound and healed it all till she was sitting up perfectly fine. Noah let out a loud cry of relief and pressed his lips tightly against hers. "I can do that?" I asked to no one in particular. Once Noah and her were done kissing we all rushed up to hug her and cry a little more from the incident. "Thank you Lee." she said looking me in the eyes. I squeezed her into a strong hug and decided I would never let her go. "We have to go guys." our Mom interrupted. We both shot up to hug her "We are glad you are okay." Jackie said. Our mother beamed "Thank you for saving me, I also have a surprise for the both of you, a birthday present." YAY!" We squealed.

We all got out of that horrible place and ran to Jackie's house.
