"Jungkook, this program is literally called 'farm work in Japan'. We get to live in a traditional farming village and learn all the new agricultural technologies. It's a two year program and is only offered to a selected few."

Yoongi mentioned this in the past but I wasn't interested. He added "now that you have a solid business education, it's time to figure out how you can apply that in the real world. You still want to take over your grandpa's farm, don't you?"

I mulled over this rather slowly. I have been in a zombie-like state for a few weeks and Yoongi has had enough of it. He's not one for mush or a lot of words but shows his concern in other ways.

"You will be so tired from manual labor that there won't be time to think. Or feel."

"It's like an internship with a small stipend; think of all the things we can learn. You only need basic conversational Japanese which you already have. It's a win-win, Jungkook".

I then asked "how did I qualify? I don't even remember signing up for it".

"Well, I entered your name. I know someone who knows someone in the screening board and I may have mentioned your family's farm. They want applicants who will actually use this experience and not just add it to their resume."

Yoongi is heaven-sent.  He apparently took care of all the travel arrangements and even helped me pack. I barely had time time to say goodbye to my family. I left without telling J-Min and J-Hope.

Yoongi and I left the next week.
