They say time flies when you're having fun. I'm pretty sure I wasn't having fun but time flew anyway.
The whole town was abuzz. Kim Taehyung was coming home. The golden child. Fresh from his shiny degree in Political Science and Pre-Law and an exclusive internship with the first Asian governor of a town in California...he was definitey going places.
The Kims invited my family to the grand welcome home party for Tae. Joona wouldn't miss this chance for the world. She probably thought she was going to a Cinderella-type ball. But I obliged. Part of me, okay the biggest part of me, wanted to see Tae anyway.
It was grand all right. Lots of people, lots of food and alcohol. The Kims are proud of their son, especially after the 'J-Hope fiasco'.
I mostly stayed in a corner with my family, when I saw Joona beaming. What is that expression on her face? She looked like she was mocking me, so I followed her gaze.
Strolling into their residence was Kim Taehyung...holding hands with a girl.
