I Pray for the Wilderness

Hosea 2:16-20-

I don't fully comprehend what I am asking for, but still, I beg, I pray-

I pray for the wilderness.

Just as you lead Israel there, please bring me there too.

I want to be courted and filled with hope.

I want to call out to you using terms of endearment; I no longer want to be a slave, you, my slavemaster.

I want to be so much more-

a child, a bride, a friend.

Mold me in tenderness and love.

Pursue me oh, God.

I don't fully comprehend what I am asking for, but still, I beg, I pray-

I pray for the wilderness.
