I Pray for the Wilderness
Hosea 2:16-20-
I don't fully comprehend what I am asking for, but still, I beg, I pray-
I pray for the wilderness.
Just as you lead Israel there, please bring me there too.
I want to be courted and filled with hope.
I want to call out to you using terms of endearment; I no longer want to be a slave, you, my slavemaster.
I want to be so much more-
a child, a bride, a friend.
Mold me in tenderness and love.
Pursue me oh, God.
