Breakthrough
"Despite whatever you believe about yourself,
if you had told the authorities what you just told me,
he would have been convicted in court."
That's what my therapist told me two days ago.
For the first time in five years,
I stare at my reflection and force myself to admit
begin to really try to believe,
"I am (You are) not to blame."
(The blinds can smile now).
