(Jacksons POV)

It was the nest morning and I had just woken up but April was still asleep next to me, I stroked her hair and looked at her, a smile appeared on my face, I heard April groan and I saw her eyes open "are you watching me sleep" she laughed "what, no never" I said in a sweet sarcastic tone "I love you" I said smiling and putting my hand on her cheek "I love you to" she said kissing me, I pulled away "are we going to tell anyone" I said "lets just do it one step at a time like we can tell close friends and obviously the people who live here" "sounds good to me".

we both got up and dressed for work, when we went into the kitchen everyone was staring at us "what" we both said in sync "you two should be more quite in bed" Christina snickered we both gave her a dirty look and got some toast "so you two finally got together" Alex said eating his cereal "yeah I guess" April said and I smiled at her "gross but cute" Meredith said "are you gonna tell anyone else" "just people were close to until its more serious" I said looking at April to see if I had said the right thing and she nodded "well we have to go for work bye" April said pulling my arm "you covered that bruise pretty good" I said "yeah" she said opening the car door.

(Aprils POV)

when we got to work the first thing I did was find Arizona and when I found her I told her everything "oh my god really" she said after I was finished rambling "yeah really" "well that's great for you April" she hugged me and I smiled "Kepner we've got a trauma" Owen shouted to me from the ER "K IM ON IT" I ran to put a trauma gown on

a few hours later we were done with all the patients in the ER and I was exhausted so I went to sleep in an on call room, when I got in the on call room I felt someone's hands around my mouth but I couldn't see who it was because all the lights were off and the next thing I know I was waking up in an empty room except was not all empty there was someone in front of me tied to a chair just like me, wait a minute was that...

(Jacksons POV)

I was sitting doing charts when an attending asked me to go to a supply closet to get them something but when I got there  felt a sharp pain on the pack of my head and then everything went black.

I woke up in a dark room and I could not see anything except for a redhead tied to a chair in front of me, was that April? oh my god was she hurt, I tried to stand up but I was tied down to so i screamed "APRIL ARE YOU OK" I had to shout because she was all the way on the other side of the room "YEAH YOU?" I heard her question me "YEAH MY HEADS A LITTLE SORE BUT I THINK ILL BE FINE" she was about so speak when a door swung open, both of our heads turned to that direction and I heard a laugh "you two really want to be together don't you" a women's voice said "who the hell are you and what do you want" I said to her, she walked over and slapped me and I felt a sting and then I realised who it was, it was my ex Carol she was crazy what the hell did she want "I'm here to hurt her by hurting you, I loved you Jackson more than I have ever loved anyone" "AND I DIDN'T LOVE YOU CAROL" I looked over to April and saw a tear drop from her eye and I could tell I was scaring her

I looked at Carol and she pulled out a knife "NOO" I heard April scream and she was leaning forward in her chair, Carol slowly walked to me and lifted up my shirt and made a small cut in my right lower abdomen and I screamed but Aprils screams were even louder, the pain in her screams made my heart shatter, I felt Carols hands dig in to my stomach and it hurt so much I couldn't breathe "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM" April sobbed and I was bleeding, she was about to make another cut when we all heard some loud sirens and saw some flashing red and blue lights coming from the door, she quickly untied us both and ran away as fast as she could, I fell to the ground in a pool of my own blood and April ran over to me "hey" she said crying "don't die on me ok" I nodded weakly and gripped her hand "I love you April but-" "NO, no dying talk on me you do not get to do this" "April I-" "Marry me Jackson" she blurted out "what" I said confused "I just asked you to marry me so you cant die on me okay" she put her head up to mines "yes I will marry you April" I whispered as she put pressure on my stomach.

(Aprils POV)

I just asked him to marry me and I had no regrets at all, I was holding on to his stomach when help came rushing in and I could breathe again and Jackson was going to be ok, I felt so relived they rushed Jackson to the ambulance and they got me in one two just to make sure I had no internal injuries 

at the hospital

I was sitting in a hospital bed waiting for a doctor to come in and tell me everything was ok but I kept getting these flash backs of Jackson screaming and me covered in his blood, what if he does not make it to our wedding what if he dies before we have kids, I started to panic when a doctor came in and told me everything was ok and that Jacksons surgery went fine and I calmed down, I wiped the tears from my eyes and slowly closed them
