Chapter 16 : Plexon Complex

"Sejal ? Where are we going ? ASPEX is that way !!", Tejas protested.
"REDZ", I said as I took a harsh turn towards the left. I speeded across the highway and broke all the signals on my way.

"Now that's some rash driving !", He remarked. We reached REDZ. I searched for my mom. But it seems she wasn't there.

"Where is she ?", I asked Uma. But she had no idea. I wasn't surprised though. Even if she knew, she wouldn't have told me.

"Dr.Gaikwad is at ASPEX Industries", Pranav sir came out of nowhere. "She looked frightened. She said she saw something."

"You gotta be kidding me", I muttered as I made my way to my car again.
"Atleast tell me what's happening !", Tejas was reluctant.
"Let's find my mom first. I think she's in danger", I said as I raced the car again. This time straight to ASPEX.

We reached our destination in no time. "Mom ?! Mom !", I called out. But no one answered. I entered Mrs.Neha's cabin in a hurry.
"There you are !", I said as I finally found her. Apparently, Mrs.Neha was telling my mom about what really happened that night.

"Um.. Sejal.. I know how it feels.. like some insatiable energy at this age..", mom started off awkwardly.
"Mom, that's seriously not important right now. There's a danger to your life.. she's back..", I said. "Amruta is back."

"Sejal beta, don't freak out your mother like this. How is this possible ?", Mrs.Neha asked.
"She knows very well. Don't you, mom ?", I asked.
"I knew it. I knew she would somehow come back. She won't let my family live peacefully. M..", my mom's tone suddenly changed.

"Oh my God. She's having a panic attack", I remarked as I felt her pulse.

Tejas helped me get her to REDZ as quickly as possible. We started the treatment right away. Pranav sir helped me keep the secrecy.
"I haven't seen your mom panic. Like ever. Whatever it is, it must be terrifying", he said.

I didn't keep track of the time. I just sat by her side till she showed some movement.
"Sejal, let her get some rest", Tejas suggested as he got me out of the special ward.

I saw Vedant standing upright. He wasn't moving though. He was standing there. Still.
That's when I noticed that he was talking to someone. It was Amruta!
I decided to barge in again. But she disappeared before I could do so.

"Listen, I'm going back to ASPEX, it's almost time. Negative Satvar will be here any minute", Tejas said as he left. I continued scanning the special ward. But I didn't spot her again.

"Looking for someone didi ?", she stood before me.
"Don't hurt mom. She has nothing to do with it", I told her.
"I came here for you didi. It seems you didn't hear me out clearly last time.. so here we go again : Make a backup plan ! Your existing plan is bound to fail !!" - saying this she disappeared again.

Tejas's plan was going to fail ? Where was he?
That's when I realised that he just went to ASPEX. I tried calling him but he wouldn't answer.

[ Tejas's POV ]

"Mr.Versatile, after a long time indeed !", I said as I met him again.
"Pleasure to see you too, Satvar", he greeted. "I know what you are waiting for.."

"I can't control my excitement anymore sir!", I exclaimed.
"Here we go then ! The Brand new Satvar suit from ASPEX Industries !!", he said as he opened a suitcase.

"This is so good Mr.Versatile. Exactly as I wanted. It's saffron. The small details here and there make it even more gorgeous. You even kept some things similar to the original suit so that it doesn't lose the OG Satvar vibes..", I remarked.
"Doesn't leave me anything else to say.. I kept the chest badge empty. What do you want at its centre ? Your name perhaps ? SATVAR ?", he asked.

"I have a better idea actually", I said as I pulled my sleeve, revealing my trishul tattoo. "You sure ?", he asked.
"Damn sure."

[ Sejal's POV ]

"DAMN THIS CAR !! GO FASTER !!!", I screamed as I raced my car again. I was definitely going to lose my driving license soon enough.

I reached ASPEX again. I made my way to Mrs.Neha's cabin. But there was no one there. Someone told me she was with Mr.Omkar. I hurried towards his cabin. There they were !

"Sorry to interrupt. But may I ask where Tejas is ?", I asked.
"He just left a while ago. He said he was going for REDZ", Mr.Omkar said. I tried to run again but I knew I wouldn't reach in time.

So I opened my REDZ CCTV camera app. It showed Tejas and Negative Satvar fighting. And clearly, Negative Satvar had the upper hand. Tejas was right, he wasn't fast enough to stop him.

"Dr.Sejal, is everything alright ?", Mrs.Neha asked as she followed me.
"If there's any problem we can help", Mr.Omkar reassured.

Versatile couldn't stand against Negative Satvar. Mayuri and Vedant are in no position to fight. Amruta won't help me directly, but she knew I could come up with a backup plan. That means..

I rewinded all the incidents that happened since Tejas came into my life. But wait.. how did he come here in the first place..

"Yes, you're right. I need help, but not from you", I remarked.
"Then who ?", Mr.Omkar asked.
"Your son, Akshit Jamadar", I said. "He's the only one who can do this."

"I'm not going to involve Akshit into any of this. And that's final", Mrs.Neha protested as we drove towards Plexon Complex.
"Even I thought I could do the same. But it seems fate has another thoughts", Mr.Omkar said as we reached our destination.

We took the lift and soon found ourselves at Jamadar family's house. Akshit was busy playing with a marble like thing. It was red. I explained the whole thing to him.
"Akshit, please you have to help us", I pleaded.

"I can't.. the triangle machine you are talking about : HEA took it away from me a couple of years ago", he said.
That's when I carefully noticed the marble. "This marble in your hand.. Tejas told me you had something similar put in the triangle machine.."

"Wait. Wait. Isn't this Jayesh's ?? Akshit, how many times have I told you not to touch his things. Where did you get these anyways ?I thought I got rid of them", Mrs.Neha complained.
"Somehow, I felt connected to these marbles since I first saw them.. now this woman tells me I can make people time travel using these marbles..", he said in a depressive tone.

"Can I take a closer look at it ?", I asked.
I looked at it carefully. Shit.
"Akshit, this isn't an ordinary marble. It's someone's blood", I declared as I handed it back.

His hands shook now. It seems it reminded him of something. The marble started glowing. "AVNIII!!", He screamed.
