Chapter 18 : ZS

The ground around us started to shake. I could see some sparks coming near the main gate. That's where the explosion would be !

I quicked towards it. But then I noticed even Negative Satvar had the same goal.
"I guess I'm not the only one who time travelled here", he smiled. "You can never beat me."

He prepared to run but Tejas caught his leg. "I don't know what you are doing Dr.Sejal. But I know it's for the good", Tejas said.

I continued to run towards the gate despite hearing Tejas's cries. Negative Satvar continued to beat him mercilessly but Tejas didn't let go off his leg. "HAR HAR MAHADEV !!", he shouted as I heard something break. Someone break.

A tear escaped my eye as I knew what had happened. I knew Negative Satvar would just zap past me and gain the residual energy from the blast.

"Go didi go !"

Someone pushed me from behind and I straight up fell forward into the explosion energy. Negative Satvar rushed in too. He had blood over his hands.

"I finally have the stability of space-time", he continued to laugh. I took a glance at Tejas. He was in a pool of blood. His eyes wide opened. His protromagnet was destroyed, it was in pieces.
Negative Satvar walked towards me. He opened his bloody fist to reveal a part of Tejas's protromagnet. It had a sharp edge.

"There's nothing better than kill Sejal with my own hands with this souvenir from her boyfriend", he said as he lifted the shrapnel up.
"Any last quotes ?", he asked.
"Yes, FUCK OFF", I said as he instantly attacked me with it.

But it just bounced away.

"What ?! But how ??", he said as he might tried to kick me. But nothing happened.

I had actually absorbed the energy. I saw Amruta standing near the psychatric ward, smiling. She was the one who gave me the last push I needed to put Negative Satvar behind.

"I'll get you next time-", Negative Satvar opened a portal again but this time, I caught him off-guard and pulled him away.
"No next times. This ends here", I said as I punched him. I threw him here and there. Any of his attacks couldn't affect me.

"What's going on here ?", Vedant asked as he came out.
"I'll explain afterwards", I said as I got hold of Negative Satvar again. "Let's get to Tejas first."

We hurried towards him. He was losing a lot of blood. Like a lot. Even his protromagnet was crumbled into pieces.
Vedant put his hand over Tejas's forehead. Suddenly, all of his wounds started to heal.

"Om Namah Shivay. Om Namah Shivay", Tejas continued to chant.
"Even though I've healed him, It seems he still needs a protromagnet to be back to normal..", Vedant remarked.

"We have one", I said as I made the Negative Satvar lie down.
"No, don't even think about it. It's cruel !!!", He complained.

"Dr.Sejal even I think this isn't-"
"Shutup", I smirked. "It's time for justice."

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!", Negative Satvar screamed as I continued to pull off his protromagnet.
"Trust me you'll have nightmares-", Vedant tried to stop me.
"No I won't", I said as I applied greater force. "HAR HAR MAHADEV !!!!", I shouted as the protromagnet came off. The blood stained my white coat.

"Ughh", Vedant seemed horrified but removed all the remaining pieces of Tejas's protromagnet from his back.
"Let me", I said as I pushed the new protromagnet inside him.

Vedant sealed off the surrounding skin quickly. "He will live right ?", he asked.

"Yeah he will", I assured.

ZOOP. ZAAP. ZOOM. Whatever sounds that start with 'Z' !
Everything in my mind changed within seconds. Some quick memories rushed through my head.

What the fuck did just happen ? My head felt like it was about to blast.

"Looks like you're up", Tejas rushed in.
"You have your speed back ?", I asked.
"Yes I have. Thanks to you and whatever you did that day", he smiled.

"What happened to me ?", I asked as I got up from the REDZ bed.
"You tripped over the stairs and fell on your head", he giggled. "Hey Deva, Sejal you're so clumsy.. I mean Dr.Sejal.."

"Dr.Sejal huh ? Come here", I asked.
"What happened ?", he said as he came towards me. I pulled him and threw him on the bed.
The other patients near us freaked out.
"Everyone, get out", I said as I put on my white coat. "It seems my patient needs some treatment", I said as I clutched Tejas's collar.

Everyone ran out. Even the kids started to cry.
"Is this supposed to be scary ? Or sexy ?", Tejas asked.
I pulled him over me for a kiss. "Consider it both."

Mr.Versatile opened the door. "Mr and Mrs.Satvar ? That's a pleasant surprise", he greeted us.
"It's just Ms. right now", I corrected as we entered. "she prefer Dr.Sejal actually", Mrs.Neha gave us sanitizer and told us to dispose off our masks.

"We actually came here to meet Akshit", I said.
"Wow. You.. really did it", Akshit said as he saw us.

"What is this it that we don't know ?", Mr.Versatile asked.
"It's our little secret", I smiled as we sat on the sofa.

"Akshit are you keeping secrets from me now ?", a girl entered the hall with some soft-drinks.
"Avni, I wish I could tell but it's too personal for Dr.Sejal", he said as he hugged her.

"Uh yeah, she's Avni", Mrs.Neha introduced her. "She's Vedant's cousin", Mr.Versatile added.
"You guys know him ?", she asked.
"Let's just say we know him too well", Tejas said. Mr.Versatile got a call. He picked it up - "What ?! Is he okay ?"

"What happened Mr.Vers.. I mean Mr.Omkar ?", I asked as I noticed the visible worry on his face.
"Neha, switch on the TV", he ordered.

"It seems HEA is back to their activities", he said as he searched for the remote.

"HEA TARGETS MUMBAI. BOMBBLAST AT ANDHERI. PHOENIX FIGHTER COMES TO THE RESCUE. BUT IT SEEMS HE'S BEING ATTACKED BY 2 OF HEA'S AGENTS"

"Tejas and Sejal, are you coming ?", Mr.Versatile asked.
"Umm me ?", I asked, surprised.
"Don't tell me you forgot about the suit I gave you", he sighed.
"It's in your car", Tejas whispered.

"Uh yeah.. I remember", I said. Tejas ran and brought in my suit. "Here you go ZS."
