We made it to the park, finally. "So did you finally figure out this timeline travel as you say ?", I asked.
"Yes. About that. It's less complicated than restarting a love story from zero."
"Why do you always bring up that topic ?", I grabbed his collar this time.
"Because that's the reason I'm here", his breathe warmed my bare skin.
"Maybe it's just an attraction", I said as I moved even closer.
"We aren't teens now, Dr. Sejal", he said as he grabbed my chin. "Trust me, this is not what you would've wanted", he said as he moved away.
"I'm not here to lose your love because of my desires, I'm here to regain my lost love", he just smiled and walked away.
