-ey..Hey! Damian! Can you hear me!?

I woke up and saw Grayson above me, shaking me awake. What in the world happened? I got up and looked around to see father, Pennyworth and Todd waking Drake up. We were on a beach and behind us were trees and forests and a huge volcano. I got up and dusted myself off. W-Where..where are we?

Bruce: Damian, Tim, you're finally awake. We seem to have crashed on an uninhabited island a long way from Gotham. We've gathered most of the supplies but it won't last us until help comes around.

Dick: So, What do we do until then?

Tim: We have about 3 days until help shows up. The cruise ship sends out a signal or a tracking beacon back to the manner or to the 'private' business line that takes approximately 2 to 3 days to reach in case of an emergency.

Jason: Well this is just perfect.

Damian: So all we need to do is survive until then. Simple enough.

Bruce: First we'll need to set up camp further inland, staying near the coast isn't safe. Then we'll need to find fresh water and food to eat until then. Let's get moving, follow Alfred.

So we did. We followed Pennyworth as he led us through the forest. There were strange noises everywhere and they were honestly getting on my nerves. We stopped as we came across a stream. We walked along the rocks until we stopped. Pennyworth tested the water and it was fresh. We continued along the rocks until we came across an entire pond of the water.

Jason: So, is it safe to drink it?

Alfred: Yes.

Tim: So...How do we drink it?

Dick: I guess we'll need to cup our hands and drink from there.

Jason: Ugh, I'm not an animal.

Damian: Stop your whining, Todd. Are you scared?

Todd: No I'm not!

He stomped his foot on the rock he stood on like a spoiled brat; the one we all stood on and it cracked like broken ice. More cracks formed beneath us and soon after, we were falling down a long slide underneath that said rock.

Damian: Todd, you imbecile!

Jason: Shut Up, demon spawn! If I'm gonna die, I don't want your voice to be the last one I hear!

It continued until we all fell on top of Pennyworth as he was on the bottom. We all immediately got off of him as father helped him up. He was ok. We all dusted ourselves off and looked around. We saw an opening further down the cave and walked down to see what it was. There were a few steps so we climbed them and halted at the sight we saw. We were in the volcano I saw earlier on the beach.

It was a dormant volcano and it was filled with water that was connected to the ocean. And Todd had to have foolishly said, "Finally a bath!" Father held him back as Alfred tested the water. It was fresh salt water. Todd jumped right in, he said 'We better use this water if we want to save the clean one to drink.' I rolled my eyes as my other idiot brothers jumped in behind him.

Then father slid right in then Pennyworth. I was the last to enter. Ugh!! I slid in behind him and it was freezing. I couldn't feel my body whatsoever.

Third person
Under the water, swam a little mermaid. She was angry at herself as her bonded waterlily (Kwamis) followed behind her trying to calm her down.

Marinette: I can't believe I lost to that narrow eyed beluga!

Tikki: You gave it your best Marinette. Don't beat yourself on the coral about it. There's always the next wave.

Marinette: What if there isn't a next wave, Tikki? *groans*

Tikki: Maybe you should head back now, Marinette. Remember, there's a full moon out tonight and the most dangerous one. You can't risk being out tonight.

Marinette: Just a tiny little more swimming, Tikki. It'll be quick, promise. I just need to get this frustration off my back.

And with just a flap of her tail, she was off like a bullet speeding through the water. "How about we go to our secret hideout for a while then swim back?" the stubborn mermaid asked her lily. She giggled with a nod and they were off in that direction. She had arrived and the water got chilly. The moon wasn't supposed to rise this early. she spoke to herself.

Tikki: Marinette, we should head back now.

Marinette: Tikki, the moon's risen early. I can't turn back now. Let's hide out in the underwater cove of the hideout. We'll be safe there. Let's hurry.

They swam off as they arrived at an opening under the water. The cove she mentioned that led to their hideout. She sat on the soft sand but then looked up as she felt movement in the water. There were people in the water. Humans. Her eyes widened. She cradled herself in a ball and whispered in a rambled tone to her lily. "Tikki, What are humans doing in the pool!?!" She hushed Marinette before the water's temperature began to drop. She then heard voices from the humans.

Damn, why is the water getting colder?

Tt, I'm getting out!

Scared of a little temperature demon spawn?

I'm not scared of anything you moron!!

Demon spawn? the little mermaid questioned. She then felt the water's currents changing direction as the pool began to bubble. Her eyes widened in disbelief and in horror. Oh jellyfish.. she internally cursed. The moon was directly over the pool and it directly hit the humans that swam in the water. They all soon began to glow and they feet soon turned to tails. The mermaid broke down and mutely screamed as bubbles left her mouth.
