Daminette Mermaids Fanfic: My Story

Marinette swam out of the cove first before Damian. He looked around the pool remembering how he got into this mess in the first place. Stupid Todd had to jump in didn't he??

As with Marinette, she stopped looking around for him but got distracting by a light in the water. She followed it. She still remained near the reef swimming around through the corals and rocks. She then heard a voice calling to her. She spun around but no one was there. That's when the water grabbed her and dragged her off. She tried freezing it but it didn't work. She then tried controlling it but it was no use.

She groaned and squirmed as she struggled to get the water off her tail. She had just made it passed the pool heading further away from it. She then did the only thing that she could think of. "DAMIAN!! HELP!!" she yelled and called, even screamed, unsure if he'll be able to hear her. The water stopped as it began to push her up to the surface. Her face was out of the water as she was now staring up at the big, bright, full moon right above her.

After about a few minutes, the water lowered her back down into the water, vanishing as she remained staring up at the surface.

"DAMIAN!! HELP!! DAMIAN!!" was all he could hear until he dashed off in search of Marinette. He swam all over the reef but couldn't find her. He swam off over towards the bubble for help but soon saw her staring upward then turning to him. He sighed in relief as he halted in front of her.

Damian: Marinette..you're ok..

Marinette: ...Never been better, Damian.

He noticed the change in her tone. He narrowed his eyes in caution. "Why were you looking up?" She smiled as she swam nearer to him. He grabbed her hands as she tried to reach out to him. He then realised that in her eyes...he could see the full moon in them. "Marinette, snap out of it. This isn't you." She tilted her head, "Oh, but it is, Dami. You just don't know the real me." He began to pull her away and back to the bubble but she wouldn't budge.

Damian: Marinette please, I'm begging you. Snap out of it!

Marinette: Damian, I'm the queen of the sea, I think I know how I'm acting right now. The water obeys me, my every command.

And with a blink of her eyes the moon's light faded from her eyes. His grip loosened in trying to comprehend what just happened as she took the opportunity to grab his hands and pulled him closer to her. She cupped his cheeks and stared deeply into his eyes as he floated frozen. And without a moment's hesitation, she kissed him. Her soft puffy lips on his, her smooth gentle warm hands on his face, he couldn't resist. He faded into the kiss, kissing back.

He pulled her closer wrapping his arms around her slim waist before she pulled away. "See..I told everything was fine. Thanks for the birthday gift, Dami." she finished. He watched her closely as she pulled him back in again, the moon in her eyes before they closed. Without warning she slipped her tongue in as it explored his mouth in its entirety. Strangely, he didn't taste the salt water all he did feel as though there were butterflies in his stomach.

He's never felt anything like this before with anyone. Probably because he hasn't kissed anyone before. He kissed back as he peeked through his eyes and saw her gazing upon him, the moonlight staring into his soul. He then briefly parted, "I'm sorry, Mari..but the last thing you said...was help." And with that, he jabbed her in her neck as she closed her eyes into Damian's arms. "I'm sorry, Angel.." was the last thing she heard before it all went dark.

Marinette woke up but then stopped and groaned. My neck is killing me. She cracked it a few times to look and search the room to find things that weren't there before...things she's never seen before...things that didn't even belong in her house. She then turned to look over to the other side of the room on the couch to see Damian still fast asleep and with about 2 hours until school was due to start. She got off the bed and swam over admiring the boy.

She smiled with a bit of blush not even remembering what happened last night after the water attacked her. She bent over and moved his hair aside then planted a kiss on his forehead.

Why am I here?? I have no clue but... I'm not totally upset with this... And anyways...he's cute when he's sleeping.

She swam out through the window back home.

What in the name of Atlantis did I do last night?? Why does my mouth hurt?? And why do I feel like I can fly?? And why do I have a craving for Angelfish?
