Chapter 13

"What about you, tae? Do you think I'm hot too?"

Blood rushes to Taehyung's ears making them flare with redness.

"...erm....I-I.....y-youu...." he stammers pathetically looking at the bowl in his hand.

Jungkook smirks satisfied at the younger's reaction.

Ah! how he likes tae like this.

"Whatelse?" The older continues, dropping the topic. He doesn't require Tae to tell him he's hot cause Tae's flushed face was giving away the answer already.

"Huh?"

"The nonsense stuff you heard of me"

"I-it's n-nothing"

"Go on, I wouldn't mind, Tae"

"I-i know it's all trash but they say that y-you g-get intimate with your s-secretaries" He tried to sound as decent as possible, bringing the chopsticks to his mouth.

"I do bang them" Jungkook hums and Taehyung chokes on the noodles.

"Hey you okay?" The boss grabs the water bottle for him.

"The food was hot" he lied, pretending Jungkook's blunt response didn't just shock him.

The noodles taste was still sitting on his tongue, he liked it.

He took another bite and once he started chewing 'oohs' and 'aahs' left his mouth.

"This is so yummy hyung. Better than the ones i had earlier"

"Thanks baby" Jungkook smiled at the compliment.

They continued eating but there was a tint of uneasiness Taehyung felt. He decides to ask and get it clarified instantly.

"D-do you date your secretaries?" He questions cautiously.

"Date?" Jungkook's brows crease lightly. "I haven't dated for almost an year. It's just hookups, you know to blow off some steam" he says in a nonchalant tone.

"Oh" Taehyung replies trying to understand what Jungkook just meant.

"I don't get time to go to bars and pick up guys. Not that I force my secretaries, it happens only when both of us want to"

Taehyung does know what one night stands are but he could never understand how people get so close, trust each other with their bodies without any feelings attached. He doesn't even know what sex felt like.

All his life he's stayed away from relationships, everything happening with him was new and he was trying to explore more.

"I get it" the red-head responds, though he partially doesn't.

They finished the noodles and Taehyung thoroughly enjoyed it. Jungkook's a great cook he concluded.

"Not gonna lie, I suck at desserts" the older says placing the raspberry cake in front of Taehyung.

"I'm sure it's gonna be good" Taehyung gives him an encouraging smile.

"I doubt that"

Taehyung takes a spoonful of cake and shoves it in his mouth. His face twists in discomfort immediately; thankfully Jungkook couldn't see his expression as he only got a sideview of Tae's face.

"How's it?"

Taehyung turns his head halfway, now facing the older, who was looking at him searchingly for a review.

Taehyung forced a smile and gave a thumbs up and the relief he saw on Jungkook's face was worth the torture he was going through.

He swallowed hard and continued having more.
