As they waited for the dessert, Jin narrates his love story. Apparently, Namjoon and he were high school friends and it developed to something more as they grew older.

Their story warmed Taehyung's heart. He could now see how pure, relationships could be. He never got to witness something this beautiful before.

His past disturbed him so much that he put up emotional walls to save himself from the pain his parents went through.

But when he sees Yoongi, Hoseok or Namjoon and Jin, he feels he deserves a chance too. A chance to fall in love, a chance to be truly loved.

His head unconsciously turns to catch a fleeting glimpse of Jungkook.

Was he wishing for too much?

Jin for the next 10 mins ranted about Namjoon's clumsiness, on how he broke valuables very often while Namjoon kept defending himself throughout.

His complaints were then directed towards Jungkook which piqued Tae's curiosity.

"You know, Mr Kook is too busy expanding his business that he has no time to find a partner" Jin scoffs bitterly. "My WWH face would wrinkle by the time he finds himself the special one"

Isn't Jungkook already in a relationship? What about the rumors then?

Taehyung did ignore them at the beginning, but it was getting rather bothersome after the phone conversation Yuri had with Jungkook a few hours ago. It clearly didn't give off a strict Boss-secretary vibe.

He knows he shouldn't be bluntly asking about it. But Taehyung was desperate and impulsive. A thought strikes him. In a pathetic attempt to hear a no, he let out those words.

"I thought Mr Jeon is dating his secretary Yuri"

There was a clink of sound, metal spoon hitting the bowl and the table fell into silence.

"Mind your own fucking business, Kim" Jungkook gritted out.

"Calm down Kook, Taehyung was trying to make a friendly conversation" Namjoon covered up for him.

"That's news to me, I thought kook was interested in—" before Jin completed, Jungkook snarled "enough hyung"

"I-I'm sorry Sir" Taehyung apologized.

The atmosphere around them was too heavy that it suffocated Taehyung.

The waitress graced her presence again. She got four bill holders, placing one in front of each person.

Taehyung was a little confused. He doesn't know much about restaurant culture as he has never been to a proper one before. Was he supposed to pay his own bill?

All this while he thought the host paid.

He saw Jin giving his holder to Namjoon.

Should he do the same then? Give his check to Namjoon? Is Namjoon paying for them all. He was looking at Jin contemplating his next move.

Jin meets Taehyung's gaze and chuckles softly "Isn't that what husbands and boyfriends are for Tae. Pay bills and spoil us" he said in a teasing tone.

"I-I don't have a boyfriend, hyung" Taehyung answers dumbly.

"Well your date should pay then" Jin winks and Jungkook snaps his gaze at Jin, glaring.

The conversation left Taehyung confused. He hardly understood what Jin meant so he ignored his comments.
