Jeongguk's an extrovert, if he has a problem he himself volunteers and express all his anguishes, creates a scene, and lets out every emotion without holding much onto them.

Whereas Jungkook wouldn't say a thing. He sulks for days if he doesn't get what he wanted.

He's very adamant, if things didn't happen as per his mindset, he banned people and locked himself up in the room without talking to anyone.

To share his emotions, he had to first trust the person, and Chaewon was his only confidante in childhood. That didn't mean he used to walk to her and share his feelings.

Whenever Jungkook was upset, she was the one who negotiates the talk and comforts him. It's the only way you could get Jeon Jungkook to open up and tell what's wrong.

Though Jungkook had changed a lot in the past 20years, Chaewon realized that this characteristic of his remained the same.

On day 1, she hasn't noticed much but as time passed by she could see how a smiling Jungkook went all sad immediately without a reason. He used to stare into space and Chaewon had to call him twice or thrice to get his attention back.

She knew Jungkook's mentally disturbed but thought it could've been related to work. Things got confirmed when Jungkook smile dropped every time he saw Jeongguk and Jimin together.

Whenever his brother and his boyfriend displayed affection to each other, Jungkook left the place. He went inside the room and never came out until Chaewon called him. He was still her 4year old Kook in this one aspect.

Jungkook came out to her as gay on the first day itself, so she confirmed it was a guy he was longing for.

She kept quiet for a while, gave him some space before finally deciding to confront him.

"What are you saying mom?" Jungkook froze.

Jeongguk and Jimin in the next room, were alerted hearing this. They both being their nosey selves, slowly crawled on the floor, reaching to the wall and pressing their ears against it.

"I know there's somebody in your life and you've been hurting for a while now" Chaewon says.

Jungkook doesn't deny her but hesitates to continue the conversation.

She smiles knowingly, she pats her leg, Jungkook who understood the gesture, lays his head on her lap. It felt like the most natural thing to do, like he's done it a hundred times before.

She ran her fingers through his hair soothingly. After some time he calls her "Mom"

"Hm?"

"How did you find out there's someone in my life?"

"Because I'm your mom" she states proudly, letting out a cheeky grin. Jungkook chuckles in return.

"I've been trying to forget this person for so long, but i'm unable to" he admits softly.

"I'm here for you if you wanna talk about it"

They went completely silent for a minute.

"Taehyung" Jungkook says calmly, breaking the silence.

Chaewon's eyes widen in shock, so does Jeongguk's and Jimin's.

"The person who slapped you?" She asks stunned.
