IN MY HEART FOREVER (TAEKOOK/VKOOK)

A lazy Thursday afternoon, it had been drizzling since morning but everything else was pretty normal about the day, until now.

The lunch hour was yet to begin when most of the phone alarms went off, signaling a storm soon.

"Jungkook, there's a storm alert. We need to call rest of the day off." it was Namjoon who informs Jungkook.

Kim Namjoon, the MD, handles Jeon.Inc businesses in Japan along with his Husband Seokjin. He often visits Korea to assist the younger with work or to simply hang out with him.

He was more like an elder brother to Jungkook, had been the biggest support system when his father fell ill and Jungkook had to take over the business.

"Sure Hyung" he agreed as he typed an email informing the same to the department heads.

"I think we should leave too" Namjoon suggested.

"Can't! Need to take a call from the US branch. Have a presentation made for them and the entire set up for it is in the office. Will stay the night here" the younger reasoned.

He had his own private room in the same floor for the nights he couldn't go home.

"Alright"

"Who is driving you home?" Jungkook smirked as he very well knows Namjoon cannot.

"Yoongi is" he scoffed before exiting the room.

Taehyung groaned in frustration as the view count is not as much as expected even after 14hours of the music video's release.

Bangtan boys released a new music video at 12am. Taehyung barely slept streaming the song all night.

He sits in the restroom during his lunch hour so he can contribute to more views, unaware of what was happening outside. He wanted the bangtan boys, his favorite band to get record breaking first day views.

He streamed not caring his hunger, and hasn't even paid much attention to the alert that showed up on his phone. He closed the notification without even reading what it was about.

After what felt like 15 streams, he came out of the restroom lazily only to notice the office empty. He rushed to his desk to email Hoseok. Hoseok is offline, not only him all his colleagues were offline too.

He goes through the email Hoseok sent an hour ago saying there was a storm alert and everybody can leave immediately.

Taehyung gulps, he decides to check how the weather outside is, he goes out of the office only to witness Rain be pouring, sky be falling.

He shakes his head "Oh na na na, This cannot be happening" he mumbles to himself terrified.

He should leave now. He packed his things, checks for the train schedule. He panicked as all the trains were cancelled for the day.

He didn't have a car like others. He had to walk for a mile and take the subway for 12miles to reach his home everyday.

His fingers were shaking as he called Minjae.

"Minjae, I'm in the office, stuck here. Can you give me a ride before the weather worsens please" he pleaded.

"So sorry Taehyung" his colleague said. "I'm almost home and cannot drive back given the weather and traffic conditions. Please ask somebody else" the line went silent.

Taehyung looked around to see if anybody was still there but to no avail. He later went outside, stood there hoping to ask passing cars for a ride, but none stopped.

He goes back inside the office, sits for a while idle thinking what to do.

"Hoseok hyung might help me" he hoped.

*Ring ring*

"Hello Hyung" his voice was desperate. "I'm stuck in the office. All trains and buses are cancelled, i have no means to get home."

"I'm already at my place Taehyung. Can you wait for like 45 mins? I will come pick you up. Yeah?" Hoseok reassured.

Taehyung thought it would be selfish of him to ask his hyung to drive all the way back. But he ignored the guilt as he wants to go home badly. He was scared to stay in the now deserted place all alone. Before he could say yes Hoseok squealed.

"Hold on Tae. I will ask Yoongi hyung and Namjoon as they left office not too long ago. They can come pick you up"

"Namjoon?" Taehyung enquired.

"Oh, he is the Managing Director of Jeon company. Anyway i will check with them and call you back" Hoseok breathed out before hanging up.

After a while the phone rang, sound echoing in the empty office.

"Hey Tae, Namjoon says Jungkook is in the office too, you need not panic anymore" Hoseok announced cheerfully and Taehyung dreaded that part.

His stomach suddenly made a thousand flips.

"Apparently he needed to take a call from the US, so had to stay back. Do you want me to inform him about you?" Hoseok added.

"No hyung" Taehyung squeaked.

After a pregnant pause, he speaks again, stumbling on his own words. "Ah-h I mean I-i will reach him out to him m-myself"

Hoseok seems to understand the hesitance in Taehyung's voice.

"Tell you what Tae, He is pretty chill, he wouldn't eat you up" Taehyung could feel Hoseok rolling his eyes on the other end.

"Let me call him for you" He disconnected before Taehyung could further protest.
