Taehyung was awestruck by the expanse of the luxurious living room as he entered the host's house.

Groups of people occupied every corner, some on the sofa, some near the dining place, some in the corners, chattering and laughing aloud.

His eyes searched for Seulgi everywhere but couldn't find her, it was turning awkward for him as he doesn't know what to do.

Wrong decision

He felt he should've stayed at the hotel instead, he knew nobody here. He strolled around like a lost puppy in search of Seulgi and decides to leave once he's met her.

He comes to a halt suddenly when a hand taps at his shoulder from behind.

He turns around and meets with a familiar face.

"Remember me?" the man in a black suit, with pearly teeth and black hair smiles at him.

Yes, Taehyung does remember him, the man has stayed in his room at Kang's guest house a few months ago.

Taehyung and him didn't talk back then, they only shared a couple of smiles and it vaguely occurs to tae that the man did try to initiate conversation with him multiple times at the hanok, only to be ignored every time as Taehyung was too sad and lost in his own world then.

"You visited Andong village and stayed in the same room, didn't you?" Taehyung responds with another question.

"You got it right" the man beams "Glad to see you again" he offers his hand.

"I'm Taehyung" Taehyung shook the man's hand "and you?"

"Bogum"

"Nice to meet you"

"The pleasure is all mine"

"You work for Jeon.Inc as well?" Taehyung enquires Bogum.

"Nah...I tagged along with a friend who works there, couldn't miss out on free food and drinks"

"Oh" If Taehyung knew plus ones were allowed, he would've brought Jisung with him.

Jungkook sees Taehyung from the other corner of the room, Taehyung was wearing a white suit so he was easily visible amidst others' black and blue outfits.

He couldn't contain his happiness and rushes over to him, grinning, but stops midway when he sees Taehyung talking and smiling with another man.

He frowns thinking who it could be. It wasn't Jisung, Jungkook saw Jisung's photo when they were investigating for tae.

"Do you wanna have a drink?" Bogum asks Taehyung.

"No, thank you"

"you could at least accompany me, my friend's left me to talk to his team mates and I'm alone"

So was Taehyung, he doesn't have a company and was feeling weird wandering around alone, so he nods "Sure"

"This way" Bogum places a hand on the small of his back, guiding him to the bar.

Taehyung did feel a little uncomfortable at a stranger's palm pressed against his back but ignores the feeling and proceeds nonchalantly.

Jungkook clenched his teeth hard, his nose flared up when he saw Bogum's hand on Tae.

The nerve

He tries to steady his breathing and heads towards them, gritting his teeth when a flock of people come out of no where and start congratulating him, blocking his view.
