The cool breeze of the morning after a violent storm felt pleasant.

Jungkook offered a ride to which Taehyung shook his head telling him he could go by himself as it was no longer raining.

"I'm heading out anyway and Hoseok hyung requested me to get you home safe. Let me drop you" Jungkook protested.

When they reached Jungkook's car, Taehyung low-key gasped looking at the Black Acura NSX, shining bright under the morning sun.

Jungkook is the CEO of one of the biggest corporations. What was he expecting anyway?

He sat inside the car, awestruck as he glanced over the interiors.

"C'mon type in your address" Jungkook said pointing to GPS navigation screen.

Taehyung eyes widened at this. His crush was going to find out where he stays.

Suddenly he felt tiny.

There was no way he'll let Jungkook know how pathetically he lived. Surely, the CEO wouldn't come all the way up into his apartment but he was too embarrassed to even show him the dirty locality he lived in.

The last thing he want was for Jungkook to pity or judge him.

He gulped as he typed a wrong street name. It was a decent area and far away from where he actually stayed.

The ride was silent except for a few questions the CEO asked the younger like...

'if the temperature was comfortable' or 'if he wanted to grab breakfast on the way' to which Taehyung replied a 'yes' and 'no'

As the street approached Taehyung looked out nervously.

"Y-you can stop here, that's my house" he said pointing towards a random house with a garden.

"That's a pretty house you got there Mr Kim" Jungkook acknowledged as he taxied the car.

"T-thank you" the blonde gave a tight lipped smile. How he wished the ground to swallow him up for lying to his boss so blatantly.

He got out of the car mumbling a 'bye' and when Jungkook's car left, he walked to the nearest subway, took the train to reach his tiny apartment.

The weekend for Taehyung passed rather quickly recapping every single moment he spent with Jungkook on repeat.

On Monday.

Taehyung has been working on a new assignment Kyong gave him. His thoughts often went back to a certain someone.

He had to concentrate but the urge to see and talk to Jungkook grew to an extent that he could no longer focus.

He wants to meet the other so badly but doesn't know how. He took out his mobile and typed 'how can a low level employee get noticed by a CEO' and his brows knitted when he saw the results of his search. They spoke of getting awards, public speeches, conferences and what not.

None were instant. He wanted to see the CEO like right now, not after months or years. All long term measures google suggested made him groan in despair.

It wasn't easy to just go meet him up casually like the higher levels did. He needed to go through a long process for getting an appointment scheduled and also needed a valid reason for it.
