"No, Marcus," Tory sighed, "the papers I sent you very clearly state that my client is..."
Tory's words died out the second she saw it. The old strip mall that once housed Cobra Kai, the place that made her who she was for better or worse, had been shut down for the past decade — was now being renovated with a large banner advertising "Okinawa-Blade Karate Coming Soon!"
"...screwed up in the head more than I ever thought possible!" Tory screeched in fury.
"...Oh, I didn't mean Ms. Robinson. I'm sorry, but something came up. We'll discuss this later, Marcus." Tory hung up the phone, rolling her eyes. "Dumbass!" She then pulled her car into the strip mall parking lot, her infamous temper rising horribly for the first time since she was seventeen.
Tory didn't even hesitate to march through the doors of her old dojo. But what she saw made her do a double take. Almost all the walls inside the entire strip mall had been demolished, leaving just one, large interconnected space. With 80's rock music blaring throughout its entirety.
"I'M NOT A MAN OR MACHINE! I'M JUST SOMETHING IN BETWEEN!"
"Oh, God!" Tory muttered, "I forgot just how much I hated Loverboy. Johnny! Where the hell are you?!"
Johnny Lawrence strutted out from behind a large stack of flooring.
"WHOA, OH, WHOA, WHOA!"
"Can you turn the damn music off already?" Tory glared at her father-in-law.
Johnny took out his phone and pressed on the screen as the music stopped at once.
"Happy?" Johnny smirked at her.
"Not even close."
"Well, some things never change," Johnny laughed.
"And some things do," Tory glared at him. "It only took sixty years, but you finally learned how to use technology."
"I finally had badass teacher," Johnny chuckled. "And it definitely wasn't you. How long has it been since you put a limit on my visitation rights with Betsy?"
"That wasn't my idea," said Tory.
"She's my granddaughter and she's seen more of those lame-ass Cobra Kai Inc freaks then she has me!"
"If you have a problem with that," said Tory, "take it up with Robby."
"I would if he would ever answer his damn phone," Johnny replied bitterly.
"What are you doing here, Johnny?" Tory sighed. "You know the contract you and Daniel signed was legally binding. If they find out that you've breached it..."
"I haven't breeched anything," Johnny smirked. "I'm just here to help the owners set everything up. And they let me pick out part of the name for it as a kickass thank you."
