"Punch him harder, sweetheart! Shoulders back! Be flexible!" I yelled.

"Ow! Papa, Uncle Jace is mean!" My little 10 year old daughter whined, rubbing her arm whilst glaring at Jace.

I tried not to grin at this and responded, "Baby, you didn't pay attention to my instructions. What did i say about attention to details?"

She stared at me for a few seconds and then her right gloved hand raised up followed by a knowing grin. "Always focus on Papa's voice when fighting Uncle Jace and-- and focus on Uncle Jace's voice when fighting Papa so that i don't lose focus?"

'Close enough' i thought.

"Well done, Val darling. Before we know it you will be big and strong like Uncle Jace." Jace proudly stated while picking Valentina up. I glared at him while my little girl giggled.

"No Uncle Jace, I'll be big and strong like you and Papa. You know why?" She said.

Both Jace and I looked at each other and then back to Valentina whom Jace had placed back on the ground.

"Why?" We both asked curiously.

"Because then I be able to kick both your BUTTS!!!" She screamed the last word and ran inside the house.

"The little rascal is turning out to be exactly like you. Need to look out for myself in the upcoming future."

I laughed and proudly stated, "I'm glad she's turning out to be like me. She will need it!"

When I didn't hear any responses from him. I looked back to see him staring at me.

"What?"

Jace shrugged his shoulders. "Have you received anything since....?"

"No! But I have a feeling that they know where we live now, like last time. I can't get these people off my back." I responded.

"Have you checked the whole house for any bugs?" He asked and I nodded.

"Every corner and every furniture. Right now, we just need to keep an eye out."

Jace slapped me on the back. "Be careful mate. We're already in our 60's Mate, time really flies. I'm just glad we're still both fit at this point in life... Although, I'm starting to feel some deep aches in my back."

"It's a sign of old age, mate." I responded.

"Guys, are you coming inside or what?" My wife called out before poking her head outside the window at us.

"Come on you slow poke, the sun's about to set and you two still haven't made it in the house yet." She joked.

"I'll show you slow later." I said with passion and a quick wink.

"Ugh you two never keeps your hands away from each other it's making me want to puke." Jace suddenly said with a face.

"Then puke!" I respond as I walked slightly faster towards my wife.

"Hello my beloved wife. I missed you!" I said against her lips.

"I missed you too my beloved hubby even though we've only been apart for an hour." She replied with a peck.

I pulled her head further out and deepened the kiss that she started. "That's one hour too long."

"Mate, if you want to hump her again, do us all a favour and take both your asses into your bedroom and do whatever you're wanting to do." I let go of my wife's lips to glare at Jace.

"What? you're basically attached to her lips and half of her body is hanging from the kitchen window." Jace cackled. "What would Val think when she sees this?" He dramatically placed a hand to his chest. "Oh my dear Val's innocent eyes."

"I'll back-flip you onto the ground if you say another word." I threatened him.

"That's enough you two and hurry up. Valentina's already at the table waiting for the both of you. That girl has the stomach of an elephant and if you don't hurry, you will not have any food to eat." My wife joked.

"Mama, my stomach's not that big!" Valentina answered back. We turned to see her standing at the kitchen door with a frown on her beautiful face.

"I'm sorry sweetheart. Your stomach's not that big. It is humongous." Mia replied jokingly. Val gave her a toothy grin in response. "Now you're talking." she said.

"Oi honey, the more you hang out with your Papa and Uncle Jace the more you turn out to be like them." Mia tsked.

"It's badass in the making." Valentina stated. "Alright! No more training for today." Mia declared

"Can y'all hurry up! I'm hungry!" Jace's wife shouted.

"Rach honey, we're on our way!" Jace answered back and turned to us. "Chop, chop people. I have a hungry wife waiting for all of you."

Valentina ran off back into the dining room whilst we the trio followed suit.

"Hey baby, How's it goin'?" Jace asked Rachael. "Hungry!" She responded.

"Ye Uncle Jace, hurry up your ass we're hungry!"

"VALENTINA CARMICHAEL!" Both Mia and Rachael yelled in shock whilst Jace and I just silently laughed.

"You young lady will need to learn some manners!" Rachael stated. "Starting next week."

"What? Why next week?" Mia asked confused.

"Because we have a lot of things to catch up this week. Unless of course we don't." Rachael answered.

"Not that I know off, No." Mia replied back.

"Well.." Rachael was about to say before Valentina cuts it. "Mama and Aunty Rage, Me, Papa and Uncle Jace will be training this whole week, so you guys can do whatever."

"Sure Darling! Then next week, we'll begin with how to be a lady." Rachael replied with a gentle smile.

I felt a tug on my arm and looked to see my gorgeous wife hinting to follow her back into the kitchen. All the blood in the head rushed straight south as soon as we walked into the kitchen. Once in there, i pushed my wife against the kitchen counter hoping to have my way with her quickly.

"Eh, that can wait for later! I have important things to talk to you." Mia pushed my head slightly away from her neck. I groaned in annoyance.

"Whatever it is, is a yes." I hurriedly response and went back to the task at hand.

"Honey, it's Val's 10th birthday on Friday!" She stated. That brought be back from La La Land and pulled away from my wife's body a little bit.

"I know she's 10 this year but she won't be for the next couple of months." I said confused.

Mia placed both of her palms against each side of my face with a teasing smile. "It's April Honey. Our baby girl is turning 10 on Friday the 6th."

I fully pulled away from Mia completely in denial. "April? It's April already?" I asked just to be sure. Mia nodded a little teary.

"We're getting old and our baby is growing!" Mia responded.

"Oh honey, we did a really good job. Our life has been fruitful! Don't cry my darling." I soothingly told her choking back on my own emotion.

"I know! I'm just afraid to leave her all alone!"

"Honey, we're preparing her for any upcoming and uninvited events that will soon happen. We don't know when or how but i have a feeling that our little Valentina will be reunited with her real family." I told her.

"You think so?" She asked hesitantly. I nodded. "Will she still remembers us?" She asked. "Of course I will Mama."

We both turned around when we heard Val's voice. "Oh my darling, how long have you been standing there?" Mia opened her arms for Val to run into which she did. And Mia picked her up. "Not that long. But I promise Mama, I will never forget you both. No matter what!"
