"I saw her." Was the last thing my wife said before she passed out. Just then nurses and doctors rushed into the room to check on her. Dr. Carmichael was amongst them.

"So?" He asked.

"She woke up and spoke a few words, then she passed out again." I replied.

He nodded in response before stating, "That is excellent news. Her colour is back to normal. Heart rate is at normal speed." He checked her vitals and her pulse. "Excellent! A few more hours of rest, and when she wakes up again, give her a sip of water." Just then, my daughter whimpered.

I went to pick my baby girl up, a few drop of tears escaped my eyes. "It's alright baby girl. Daddy's here." I looked at the other empty cot i ordered to be placed in the room next to my daughter. My heart had split into two. The other half is missing. I will find her and she will never leave my arms again.

Every time i watch that video of her birth, how she was cut of my wife. It was the most horrifying sight. And that's saying something, considering my family's business. My nonno, whom i've known as the strongest man, broke down as we watched. He excused himself and walked out. Next thing we heard were glasses, furnitures and vases breaking, followed by a thunderous scream. Meanwhile, i was frozen in place. My mama has to move me out of there. And right then i made a vow. 'I will find you, princess. Daddy is coming."

By now, everyone had exited the room. So it's just me, my sleeping wife and my very alert baby girl. Her right hand wrapped around my index finger and eyes darting back and forth. It made me smile through my tears.

"You're going to have to be quiet. Mummy's sleeping. She needs her rest." I said before laying a kiss on her beanie covered head.

"Dom?" My head snapped to where my wife was lying down, eye open. I moved closer with our baby girl.

She let out a sob. "Hi baby? It's mummy!" Her head darted around the room with hope. Her eyes landing oe the empty cot right next to the obviously used one.

Leah cried then. "My baby!!" She covered her eyes with both her hands. My baby girl whimpered in distress. Leah took her from me, laying her down next to her. Not wanting to be left out, i climbed in ane laid next to them. We laid there quietly, trying to recover from the trauma.

"I saw her." Leah broke the silence. Her hand running through our now sleering girl with her beanie thrown to the side.

"Who?" Threading her next words.

"My grandma. She was with me. She showed me a picture of our baby girl. A visual picture of her." She hiccup. "Dom, she looked exactly like my grandma. Silver eyes with two deep dimples."

I got off the bed, heart pounding. I made to move out but i was stopped by my wife's hand on my wrist.

"Dom, please, i know it sounds crazy but believe me. That's how she looked. Please?" She said shakily.

I leaned forward and kissed her tears away. "I believe you."

"Then where are you going? You're leaving m-"

"Shh, shh. There is no way i'm leaving you. I did declare that you will not be leaving my sight. I will be on the couch to make a phone call to your dad. We need a photo of your grandmother when she was young and alert the authority and our men how our baby girl looks like." I whispered. Leah smiled and relaxed back down.

I kissed her again and remembered to give her water, before moving away to make that phone call.

A few minutes into the phone call, i received all the information and photos i need.

"How is Antonio? I hope he's alright." Leah said suddenly.

A bit shaken up, but otherwise okay. If anything, he's just as furious as i am.

"And my other boys?" I smiled. "Perfectly good and anxious to see you."

"Then why aren't they here yet?" She asked.

"I needed you to myself for a while longer then i'll let them know."

"This is bad." Jake muttered whilst typing away on his computer.

"What is?" I asked, arms crossed, watching the baby sleeping.

"The air force and cia are joining forces in search of us and the child." Jake responded.

I stayed quiet, watching Jake click on something. Then a tv on the wall turned on.

"This is the BSA NEWS reporting live on television. In our latest report, a gun fire rally happened down at the Salvatore Resident, the 2nd richest families in this world, resulting in a few injuries of men and a kidnapping of a new born baby girl, i mean that is one of the most outragous thing i've ever heard." An anchor man reported.

"An extremely outragous and heartless thing a criminal could do, Dean. But we shouldn't be surprised by this though. It is said, that the person who did this new the family in and out." A lady added.

"But that's not the point though. The point is, we have received pictures of men responsible for this, and get this, it is the same prisoners who escaped a few weeks earlier. This right here is a sign that one if not more of the prisoners has a vendetta against the Salvatore clan. Besides that, here are the pictures of the men responsible, if you've seen or heard anything about these men with a baby, please call the police immediately."

Just then, a picture of me and the rest of the inmates along with Jake and his men, appeared on the screen.

This was followed by a baby picture that looked exactly like the baby sleeping on a make shift bed.

"Holy shit!" Josiah gasped while i look on in disbelief.

"The child these men are carrying is believed to have a similar resemblance to the child in this picture. Now we received this photo from the grandfather on the mother's side who believed his granddaughter is a carbon copy of his own mother when she was of similar age."

"Boy, he wasn't wrong." Jake commented.

"-What are your thoughts on this one, Kelly?"

I tuned out of that one and stared at the baby.

"Do you think her eyes are silver like the one in the photo?" One of the men, who was sitting next to Jake asked.

"Most likely. Right now we need to focus on laying low. That means no outside contacts." I said directly to Jake.

When he nodded, i knew i got my messege across, so i walked into the direction of a vacant room to think of a next plan. And i need to think big.
