Valentina P.O.V

Headaches! That's all i can feel at the moment. Headaches and the need to puke.

"Argh! My mouth feels dry and-" i blew short breaths on the back of my hand and took a snif. I gagged "Fuck my breath smells."

A knock on the door caught my attention. "Come in!" I yelled, or at least tried to. My papa poked his head and smiled. "Ah my Val, how's the hangover?"

"Painful! Do you have any coffee?"

I watched my papa walked in with a tray of sandwiches, fruit bowl and, i reeally hoped, a cup of coffee. Of course that was proven correctly.

"Of course i do, sweetie. Your mama made them." My papa replied. I 'awed'

"I'll be down to give her thank you kiss!" I said and reached out to grab the tray. Papa moved the tray away from my approaching hand and stared at it. "What are ya doin?" He asked. I stared back at him as if it's not obvious.

He moved slightly to the side and grinned. "You don't think this is yours, right?" He asked trying not to smile as if his grin wasn't obvious.

"Isn't it?" Papa shook his head. "Nope! Your mama made it for me. Not you." He stated then proceeded to sit on my desk chair and made himself comfortable. Then eat the contents on the tray.

I just stared at him shocked. "What? A-pa, what the fuck?" I yelled annoyed. He stopped eating and looked to me. "Oh sorry, do you want some?" He asked.

Annoyed i got out of bed and ran to the open door, "A-ma! Papa ate my food!" I yelled downstairs and then glared at my so-called Papa. He continued to eat without a care.

When i didn't hear any response from my mama, i stomped my way downstairs and straight into the kitchen.

"A-ma?!"

"Val baby, did you wash up before you came down?" My mama asked without turning away from the stove.

"No she didn't, My Queen!" Papa replied out of nowhere.

'Traitor' i thought whilst glaring at my Papa's approaching figure.

"Valentina, go take a shower, you reek of alcohol." I turn back to retort but my mama has that look that says "do it yourself, or i will." Of course i ran up that stairs like there's no tomorrow. Cos you know, don't want it to repeat again like last time.

I took a 30 minute shower (don't judge me) and then an extra 30 minutes to pamper my skin.

Went through my clothes. One thing you should know, i'm an old soul. At least i think i am. Here's why! My mama's old clothes from the late 60s to 80s are now in my possession, with some of my papa's leather jackets and suits as well as his army uniform from when he served in the army with Uncle Jace. I just loved the random and sophisticated styles from the old days and to be quite honest, i looked good in them too. Of course i add my modern styles into the mix as well, however, i prefer to wear my mama's clothes.

My friends both boys and girls always asked why i wear old styles with certain hairdos. But then they compliments me right after. The only answer i have given them was, "i look good in it." I mean really, if you look good in certain style, the only minor change is to add modern accessories. Today though, i'm wearing whatever i feel like, even though i don't know how i feel about today.

I wore a high-waisted grey trousers that outlines my hourglass waist and flares out down the bottom with slits on either side, paired it with maroon long sleeve button-up shirt that has ruffles on the front neck line with both sleeves rolled up and buttoned to my elbows. (I like to mix'n'match)-paired it with my papa's grey suit that you can also roll and buttoned up to the elbows, followed by cream pumps.
