Valentina's P.O.V.

After settling in the backseat with my big bag of food with multiple containers of different types of seafood. I placed everything on the tray that Sofia pulled from the middle seat. Now this is some fancy shit.

I silently ate my food glancing up once in a while. "You know i can feel your eyes burning a hole in my face?"

Sofia scoffed, "I mean, you're my twin-" Umm okay? "-like literal twin yet you look nothing like me!"

"Well, there is a thing called 'fraternal twins'-"

"I'm not stupid." She cut me off. I gasped dramatically. "Really!? Could've fooled me."

Her glare went from warmth to ice cold in a milisecond.

"Girls, be nice." Sofia's dad stated. Which reminds me, "So what do i call you?" I asked him. He clears his throat  and i waited a minute, maybe two for his response. "You can call me anything you like. Preferably dad! But whatever you want. I prefer to be called dad or father or Pops or daddy, you know whichever you want."

"You really didn't give me any other choice." I say while Sofia burst into giggles. I can also see the man in the passenger seat trying to hold his laugh. Like seriously? This is no laughing matter. Food forgotten, i gave him ultimatum names to call him instead of his suggestions.

"No!" He said with finality.

"Wow! Rea-wow." I stuttered in shock. Although i'm not mad. It feels nice to finally have a dad. I hid the smile that was about to break.

"Fine! I'll call you 'dad'." There i said it.

"I'm glad you are. You have no idea how that made me feel. And stop staring at your sister Sofi-baby."

"What? I wasn't staring!?" She denied.

"Ye you were." I chuckle.

"We're here!" Dad announced.

I looked out the window and oh my goodness. That is one hell of a mansion. For the first time in my life, i was speechless. Big house, big backyard, big family- wait-

"Um, why are there people hanging around your lawn."

"Those are the Hartvigsen's clan mingling with our or daddy's men. These people were involved in searching for your missing ass." Sofia explained.

"Aww, that's so sweet!" I replied sarcastically and turned back to the window only to spot Lui.

"Aw a familiar face."  I excitedly waited for the car to stop so i can meet my new friend. We drove around a big ass fountain and came to a stop where some old men were standing.

Dad got out first and greeted all the men. Then a woman pushed her way through. Realisation dawn on me. "Hey, that's the woman in the cafe!" I gasped. Oh my goodness. That's my mother.

I look back out the window and she was shaking the heck out of dad and saying something to him followed by tears.

Papa was right. I suck at lip-reading.

Whatever she said to him, he nodded as a confirmation. And i watched her face go from pleading, to pikachu face, then happiness, followed by anger than happiness before throwing herself at dad and start a makeout session.

Sofia groaned in annoyance but i think it's cute.

"Well, are you ready to face your doom?" Sofia asked.

I laugh a little, "Ridiculous question. Don't you know my motto is 'Be Prepared'?"

"Whatever you say." Sofia replied before getting out. She was immediately bombarded by, i'm assuming, her friends.

I took a deep breath only to lose it again because someone decided to tackle me into a hug. More like strangle.

Then the person started mumbling and sobbing at the same time.

I put my hands on her forearms wrapped around my waist because she's a tiny little thing but she is as attached to me as a Koala is to a tree.

"Darling, i think you should let her go." Dad said.

The woman laughed loudly and finally pulled away. "Let her go? What a ridiculous thing to say."

She then held my face and pulled it down to her level. "Oh look at you. How are you so tall?" Dad clears his throat as if to indicate that i took after him by height.

"Nah not from you." She waved him off whilst her other hand poke my face. His eyes darken and quite honestly, i don't want to know what he's thinking.

She cup my face and kissed my forehead. "Oh my sweatheart, you have so many things to tell me.."

"Us you mean?" Dad piped in.

"Did you hear an 'us' in my sentence?"

Dad moved closer to the woman who i know for sure is my mother, and wrapped his arm around her, giving her a not-so-innocent hug. She giggled and whispered something to him and i just stood there awkwardly.

I felt Sofia move to my side and said, "Welcome to the family! You'll be seeing more of that from now on."

"I was raised by two amazing people who have an unsatiable need and isn't afraid to show a bit of pda.." I responded.

"Oh good! Now you don't have to worry about screaming in horror." She concluded.

Tsk! I probably will.

"Aw you guys look so beautiful together. I'm so happy my girls are finally together." Mum said before wrapping both of us into a hug...again.

A man's choked up voice finally broke the suffocating hug and mum turned around and addressed the man who won't stop staring.

She went and gave him a teary hug whilst the man stood frozen.

I swear that woman is a hugger.

After a few minutes passed, mum finally pull away and gestured for me but the man decided to approach me instead.

Not another hug please... Ah dang it.

"I'm so sorry!" He apologised. What for, i'm not sure. He pulled and had a really good look at the man who looked like he had seen a ghost.

"You look just like your great-grandmother who is my mother." He mumbled. Light bulb went off in my head and i very loudly said, "Ah, he must be the hugger's father." My lips were never that quick to shut up when i realise that i said my thoughts out loud. The man and dad busted out laughing while hugger- i mean, mum jokingly glared at me..

Another round of hugs again and the man dragged me with him towards another old man.
