"We found her!" Halls announced. I stood up straight away i couldn't stop the happiness that made a 100 degrees turn in my heart. Even though i knew that he found my baby girl, him announcing it out loud with the rest of my families and friends made it even more real.
They found her. They found my baby girl. It took me 20 years to find her. Finally! "Where? Where is she?"
"Dominic, honey sit down and let him finish" I looked at my wife and did as she says."Thank you Mrs. Salvatore" Leah just nodded. "As i was saying, Yes we found her, but there's a problem!" He paused. "She's living halfway across the pacific ocean!"
"WHAT?!" Everyone screamed. Halls lifted his hand up to stop everyone from asking questions, and I am prepared to punch him in the face.
"And her name is Valentina Carmichael"
"Which country?" My father asked.
"What?"
"Don't what me, boy!" My father responded harshly. Hall looked down to avoid my father's glare.
"I ask you which country is my granddaughter residing now?"
Hall looked at his partner then back to everyone. "W-well, she lives in Australia, Sydney to be exact."
"We just came back from there." Leah chimed in.
"And why didn't you tell them so they could look for her whilst they're there?" My father questioned Hall.
His partner stepped up, cleared his throat and said something that really enraged me.
"Sir, we sent some men to get her by any means necessary to bring her home." Murmur of disbelief were heard. One of my best friend's father, also the strongest clan in the world ask.
"Where is she now?"
I can see Hall straightening his tie and rolling his shoulders nervously. His cocky son of a bitch of a partner on the other hand is smirking. "I have my men secure her in a warehouse not far from here. She's kind of wild, so i wanted to ensure that it is safe to bring her here."
My brother who for some unknown reason was standing a feet away from Hall's Partner did not hesitate to tackle him to the ground.
"What the hell did you do to my baby?" Leah demanded while i tried to control my anger from boiling.
The guy groaned in pain as my brother had pin one of his arm to the back. "She asked you a question?"
The guy breathe heavily trying to take in as much air as possible.
"I-ii-ahhh" he moaned in pain because my wife have her left heel on his shoulder. "You mean to tell me that you have my daughter locked in a warehouse, because you wanted to ensure that it's safe to bring her in? Where her real family is?" Leah's heel dug deeper. "What.did.you.do.to.mY BABY?" She grinded out.
I could've sworn i saw hell's fire in my wife's eyes. I take a glance at Hall, he was being held hostage by our allies men.
A scream echoed from outside.
I see everyone take their weapons out, fearing for a repeat attack.
By this time, my wife has moved to my daughter and my sons' wives to direct them through the secret passage way whilst my sons ran in different direction.
"Seriously! Are the people we hire and trained so useless?"
My padre muttered angrily.
The hairs on the back of neck stood up. "Antonio! MY GRANDDAUGHTER!" I yelled.
Antonio was already gone before i finish my sentence.
"Dominic, we'll take the left wing. You take the right!" Saron commanded. I gave him a nod and went into position. Now we wait in the hall. Guns drawn and pointed. My brothers had already communicate from the outside to signal.
We all heard, "All clear. Permission to enter"
Saron held a transceiver to his mouth and gave the order. "Permission granted! Enter!"
One of the guys opened the door and a couple of men, clearly from Hartvigsen clan. Extremely well built men, entered the hall, the one at the front move to the left and the other threw a guy to the front looking all bloody.
"Who is this?" Saron ask.
"That-is-one of-my men." Hall's partner replied breathlessly. I completely forgot he was here.
Saron kicked him in the back, the guy literally folded into himself whimpering.
"Whe-re's the girl?" Hall's partner asked.
The guy on the floor unfolded himself and looked around before his eyes landed on the beat up guy on stage.
"She escaped!"
