Valentina's P.O.V
After gathering a couple of weapons and preparing us for dooms day, i cautiously open the warehouse door whilst Luigi stood behind me. I don't know why, but i trusted him instantly.
"What you doing?" Luigi whispered.
"Making sure the coast is clear." I replied.
"It is!" He responded.
I turned to face him and he followed with, "...It was just me and-" gestured to the other room, "-him!"
"Where is the rest of your people?" I asked out of curiosity.
"They have other compiti."
"Com-bee-dee?!" He chuckled.
"No com-pi-ti. Also, we should go now." He concluded.
I turned back to the task at hand and headed out the door.
The outside looks bright and beautiful. So much greenary. I was in awe of what laid before me.
"Welcome to Italy!" Lui said snapping me out of my stupor. Which reminds me, "Can i call you Lui or would you prefer to be called Luigi?" I asked.
"Lui is fine. We should go now!" Lui lead the way to the matte black jeep wrangler that has a built-in armor on the outside. The thing that made me stare in awe. Whoever modified this thing is awesome to the bones. It looks like a jeep for war. I have to drive this baby.
"I'll drive, you direct!" Lui nodded and threw the keys to me.
Heart pounding, i hopped in, "Welcome to Italy indeed." I mumbled while feeling the beautiful wheel that has a totally different logo on instead of the jeep logo.
"Who designed this baby?" I asked.
"Um, my Uncles."
"What generous Uncle you have." I responded.
I took a deep breath and stared straight ahead. "Are you ready for this, Lui?"
I turn to face him for his response.
He tightened his hold on his AK42 and nodded. I nod back and released a sigh.
I put the key into the ignition and turned it on. No sounds or indication to show that the damn car is on.
I turn it off and on again. Still nothing. I repeat the same action, nothing. I can feel the disappointment creeping in and tried not to show it.
"Um-" Lui cleared his throat.
I gave him a 'what' look.
"The car was built to be silent. My grandpappa want me safe." He adds.
Still maintaining my 'what' look but with surprised added into it. I would've had a pikachu face if i was in an anime show.
I turn the ignition on again and this time i left it on. I put my foot on the gas pedal and revved it out of curiosity. Nothing! Whoever built the engine must have been into or is a high techy-techy science thingy genious.
"My Uncles build it." Lui interrupted.
"What?"
"You talking low about engine, it's my uncles."
I stared at Lui for what feels like eons because my brain couldn't processthe words that are coming out of his mouth. "Sooo... your uncles are like geniouses, then?"
"Pretty much!"
"Impressive! Is one of them single?"
