You might be the type if I play my cards right

- promiscuous, nelly furtado -

one could wish for wealth,

one could wish for a partner,

one could wish for an unlimited happiness,

but you, you simply wish to get close to the student council's vice president - which is impossible due to a huge gap between the two of you. everyone told you to give up but you refused. why? because she's like a puzzle, but you liked to solve puzzles.

yae miko - just hearing her name could make anyone swoon. a literal definition of 'beauty with brain'. she's beautiful, smart, excellent in sports - an ace, just like any manga heroines you've ever read. she's tall, has long and silky pink hair which makes her stand out from any other students. her pale skin looks soft and smooth that it makes most of the girls jealous. boys would call her a perfection - a girlfriend material. but yae with a boy? you simply couldn't imagine it.

you rarely see her walks with anyone else but her best friend, ei. these two are the school's golden assets and everyone admire them. who wouldn't? if yae is the vice president, then ei is the president of the student's council. just imagine how much powers these duo hold.

but you didn't tremble at all because despite all of the 'perfections' that the students talked about, you know one of yae's weakness.

you. you're her weakness.

she barely can stand it when you're around. you always cause troubles and every single time the student council needs to handle it. even specific, yae is in charge to take care of you.

if there's not a single chance for any students to talk to her, then being a troublemaker, who most of the times ended up in detention, is a perfect chance for you. just the vice president and you alone, you see nothing but an absolute win.

your lips curled into a smirk as the door opened, revealing the pink haired girl with an annoyed looks attached on her face. she was holding a pile of files in her hands, must be the council's works, you thought. she gave you a glare before sighing and went over to your table.

she slammed the files with both of her hands on the table. her gaze were piercing through every single bones in your body as she looked at you up and down. you returned her gaze by greeting her with a simple 'hi' which made her rolled her eyes.

"seriously, what is wrong with you? yesterday you literally stole someone's shoes. why would you even do that?"

"okay first of all, i did not steal the shoes. is it my fault that we happened to have the same shoes brand and same size on top of it? i'm a human too. i forgot things. that shithead is just dramatic for reporting me to the student council when she can just tell me about it. ugh."

"oh yeah? then explain why you skipped almost every classes today." yae crossed her arms, eyes still not leaving you. you sighed as you gently push the files aside before putting your head on the table.

"answer me." she said in a strict voice.

you closed your eyes, pretending to ignore her. you could feel yae's cursing your whole existence inside her head which made you giggled at the thought.

"why are you laughing?"

you responded with silence.

"y/n."

"i don't see the point of me going to class since my future is well.. already promised." you finally answered.

"but in this case, it's just not about your future. it's about your duty as a student. just imagine all the hard works the teachers put into teaching you but your irresponsible ass had the audacity to skip the lecture."

just like any other day - getting lectured by the vice president. who would've thought that she could be this naggy? of course no one, except ei probably. yae never really talks with the students. one could even describe her as the quiet kid, not until she started to nag at you for abandoning your study like a literal mom.

noticing that you weren't responding, she crossed her arms. "are you even listening to me?"

"yes, mom." you answered lazily.

"sorry?"

"yes, vice president." yae sighed again.

"whatever."

she then took the files and sat at the table in front of you. about 40 minutes left before you both could go home, you raised your head and your eyes instantly glued to her facial features. her slightly red cheeks, furrowed eyebrows, and the way she tapped the pen against her chin when she's confused - it's adorable. before you realized, you were already smiling to yourself.

she noticed you were staring at her and shot you a 'death' glare which made you smile even wider.

"need any help?" you offered.

"no."

yae continued to do her works, not giving you a single chance to help. one could say that detention is boring without doing anything, but you didn't think so. to you, being in detention is fun because you get to see the vice president and have the chance talk to her, which is a rare opportunity for any other students. can't really say the same for her, though.

"can you tell me something, yae?"

"what?" without giving you a glance, she asked.

"why is it always you who has to deal with me? not ei, jean, lisa or anyone else? they're parts of the student council too, no?"

her hand keeps on writing as she casually answered your question – no sign of hesitation at all.

"because they don't have the patience to deal with you."

"but aren't you tired of having to go here every single time i caused a trouble?" you asked again but this time, she stopped writing and looked at you as she raised an eyebrow.

"tell me one thing, y/n."

without answering, she asked you instead. you didn't mind as you patiently waited for her to say it. noticing your silence, she took a deep breath before opening her mouth to continue.

"why do you always cause trouble when i'm only in school? because when i'm not, there isn't a single report about you at all."
