Chapter 20-Heart attack

3rd person p.o.v

Anthony was on the phone with the operator, frantically looking at his mother. He was very worried and didn't know what was happening.

Anastasia was struggling to catch her breath, the pain in her chest was bad and the numbness in her arm was still there.

Within 10 minutes, an ambulance came and two paramedics came with a stretcher, put Anastasia on it. Anthony started crying, scared and worried what was happening to his mom.

"Hey little guy, we are going to take your mommy to the hospital, is anyone home to watch you?" A paramedic asked Anthony. He shook his head clutching onto the phone

"Ok, how about we call someone and see if they can stay. Is that your mommy's phone?" He asked. Anthony nodded his head and showed the phone. They went through the emergency contacts and Anthony said who is who

"Let's call your uncle Matthew since he's the first one" the paramedic said

"Ok-

"What is going on here?" The loud voice echoed through the foyer.

"Excuse me, are you Matthew?" The paramedic asked as a man with 3 kids following him approached the family room

"No, I'm Stefan, Anthony's father. Now why is there a paramedic and police officers at my house?" He questioned

"Are you Anastasia's husband?" He asked

"Yes, now answer my questions" Stefan replied getting angrier

"We got a 911 call from this location saying Anastasia Aveline was having a heart attack. She is currently being taken to the hospital. I couldn't leave a child unattended so we were calling Matthew" the paramedic explained

"What? Oh my god. Kids get in the car" Stefan said in distraught. He thanked the paramedic and they all went to the hospital. Stefan called Mike on the way to tell him what's happening and for him to work on stassie.

Once got to the hospital they were rushed to the waiting room, asking questions on stassie's condition. There were no update so they were forced to sit.

"Anthony, what happened to mommy?" Stefan asked

"I don't know, she said to call 911 and tell them she was having a heart attack, what's a heart attack?" He asked

"Mom had a heart attack?" Elijah questioned

"She's gonna be okay, right?" Madeline asked.

Questioned were thrown around, no answer were given.

Meanwhile while they all sat in the waiting room, Anastasia was getting multiple test done, doctors seeing her blood pressure was one indicator she was having a heart attack. She was currently conscious and saying she wanted to go home but they wouldn't allow her to go home. She kept refusing and even tried to punch one of the nurses so she was given sedatives to calm her down.

2 hours passed by and all test have been completed and stassie was in a private room, the rest of the family were now allowed in

"Mike, tell me what happened?" Stefan asked

"She did have a heart attack, her stress levels was very high, I haven't seen someone with this level, I'm surprise she's still here. Stassie needs to relax and bring it down right away." Mike explained

"I never had that much stress when I took over the business, my doctor checked every month" Stefan explained

"It can be more than just work that is causing it" he said
