"Why do you care?" Sunoo pushed Ni-ki hardly but at least the younger didn't fall to the floor. "Sunghoon and I will still meet each other tomorrow since I know that it won't snow today anyway."
"What do you mean?" Ni-ki tilted his head as he pointed up in the sky. "It's snowing right now."
Sunoo turned around, seeing droplets of snowfall on his head. "Eh... Eh?! Shit! Why are you here?"
Ni-ki blinked his eyes in confusion, hugging himself before Sunoo could punch him. "I didn't do anything to you—"
"We're under the first snowfall! And even worse, we're together! Don't you know what that means?!"
"Uh..." Ni-ki took a few seconds to realize what was happening before being as shocked as Sunoo. "We're under the first snowfall!"
Sunoo then jumped on the latter and started throwing small punches on him, making both of them fall to the floor facing each other. "Get out, get out, get out! I don't want to see you ever again! Now look, you ruined my love story~!"
"It's just a superstition and it couldn't be real!" Ni-ki remarked as he covered himself with his arms, standing up from the floor. "Like what it said, it's just a superstition. Nothing more, nothing less. It's up to you whether you're going to believe in it or not."
"I don't care! Come here right now!" Despite being cold, Sunoo still had the urge to chase Ni-ki around the observatory and slap him with his hand warmers. "I'm not going to finish until you come here!"
Ni-ki gulped as he ran for his life, afraid that today might be his last day. "Why are you blaming everything on me?"
"Because you're an annoying jerk, Nishimura Riki!" Sunoo then threw his scarf around Ni-ki's neck, playfully choking Ni-ki on the floor. "Die~!"
"Sunoo! Sunoo, here's your hot... milk." Jungwon muttered, looking at the two playing as soon as he came up to get hot milk for Sunoo. "What in the world is happening between them?" He rolled his eyes, about to open the glass door so he can stop them from fighting but something else caught his eyes. "Is that the first snowfall?"
Jungwon couldn't believe his eyes. Sunoo and Ni-ki together under the first snowfall. Yes, he missed his chance again. If it isn't Sunghoon, it's Ni-ki. His hand slowly let go of the glass door's handle as he stepped away from the scene. He was supposed to stop the two from fighting but he forgot about it as his feelings consumed him.
"Hey, Jungwon!" Ni-ki screamed, asking Jungwon who flinched as soon as his name was mentioned. "Help me! Sunoo's going to kill me!" He later used all his energy to get out of the scarf, successfully surviving a near-death experience.
"Jungwon!" Sunoo ran towards Jungwon, hugging him tightly. "He nearly killed me, you know?"
Ni-ki placed his hands against his waist as he approached the two. "Excuse me? You were the one who nearly killed me. Won, you saw that too, right? He strangled—"
"That's enough. Both of you did something wrong, okay?" Jungwon looked at Sunoo, ruffling his hair as he checked him out. "Are you okay? Sunghoon dumped you, didn't he?"
"D-dumped?! Won, that's rude! He didn't dump me!" Sunoo avoided Jungwon's gaze so he can't cry in front of Jungwon. "He just said he's busy and something came up."
Ni-ki couldn't hold back his laughter anymore after seeing Sunoo's stunned expression. "You could've seen your face! Won and I saw everything from the beginning of your conversation!"
Sunoo placed his hands over his face, sniffling as he cried.
Jungwon and Ni-ki looked at each other, not sure of what to do. Jungwon gave Ni-ki signs to comfort the latter but he truly doesn't know what to do.
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you cry... well, maybe I did, haha. But please stop crying~!" Ni-ki panicked while trying to comfort him with his fidgety stiffened hands in the air, afraid to place a hand on his shoulder in case of getting slapped.
"It's just dust, don't worry." Sunoo stepped away from Ni-ki, holding Jungwon's hand tighter. "Won, let's go." He then let go of Jungwon, running away from the observatory deck while still crying.
Ni-ki scratched his head as he walked with Jungwon to follow Sunoo. "Did I hurt him a bit too much this time? I mean, it's not my fault the first snowfall came when I was there with him."
"Don't mind him, he's just overthinking things with Sunghoon." Jungwon gave Ni-ki a small piece of paper before walking faster ahead of him. "You should get home too. I'll ring you from that number when I get home. Bye, Riki." He smiled, waving the younger goodbye as he ran to find Sunoo.
"Bye~!" Ni-ki waved back, opening the paper to find Jungwon's phone number. "Oh, why did he give me his phone number? Are we that close now?" He muttered, watching Jungwon trip from running too much. He then smiled, placing the paper in his pocket as he walked away in his direction.

"Hey, Riki. Get me a box of strawberry milk. I'll be at the school garden with Sunoo." Jungwon called Ni-ki, quickly running to the school garden. "Don't you dare complain, okay? This is the reason I gave you my phone number."
"You're going to make me your maid at this point! Why are you running so fast, by the way? I can hear your fast breathing, you know?" Ni-ki remarked, placing the phone on his shoulder so he can buy Jungwon's strawberry milk.
Jungwon arrived at the school garden as he looked for Sunoo in one of the benches available. "Sunoo wants advice on what he should do with Sunghoon after being ignored for several days."
"Good luck, then! I hope your ears don't bleed after hearing his name several times later." Ni-ki laughed, enjoying the call with Jungwon for no reason at all.
"Shut up. I'll catch you later, I can't find Sunoo anywhere." Jungwon then placed his phone inside his pocket, checking every corner of the school garden and the bushes around too.
While Jungwon was looking for Sunoo, he heard people talking about him behind the ivy bush. He wasn't sure if he heard Sunoo's name right, that's why he walked closer so he can hear them better.
"To be honest, I don't think it's nice to be playing with Sunoo. He's too innocent, bro!"
"I agree! Why didn't you tell us that you were doing this? We're out, you're being too mean."
"I just wanted to see how shallow he can be when it comes to loving me. Haha, he looked like a fool!"
Jungwon couldn't believe his ears. He can't just stand here listening to them so he decided to take a peek at the people talking. "No way..." He muttered under his breath after seeing the three standing next to each other.
Park Sunghoon with his friends; Heeseung and Jake, who barely knew anything about Sunghoon's plans.
