"Hello, everyone~!" Heeseung smiled as he stood in front of all the art students. "The festival's 3 days away which means we don't need to do anything else aside from decorating the hall for our exhibit. Has everyone finished with their canvases already?"
"Yes!" Everyone replied in chorus.
Sunoo glanced at Jungwon, staring at his painting with awe. "Wow, Won! Your painting is so pretty~!" He then looked at it closely after noticing a major change. "But why does it look so different from the one you started a few days ago? Did you redo everything? How did you finish it in one night?"
"Oh, this?" Jungwon smiled as he looked at his work. "Someone helped me with it but I pretty much did the majority."
— flashback: last night
"Stand up. I thought you said you needed to finish your painting by today?" Jay asked, offering Jungwon a hand to stand up from the ground.
Jungwon rolled his eyes as he stood up by himself. "I don't feel like completing it. I don't have ideas for other shapes I need to add."
"I'll help you~! Besides, Psychology students don't get to do much in the Winter Festival aside from doing future readings." Jay pulled Jungwon with him to the art room so they can finish the painting together. He then took a canvas, pushing Jungwon's old painting off the stand.
"Hey! I said I didn't feel like completing it, I didn't say I wanted to do an entirely different painting!" Jungwon took his canvas, brushing off the dust from the floor. "Do you even know how to paint?"
Jay scoffed as he pulled a paintbrush from Sunoo's desk. "Look, I may look like I don't know anything about art but trust me, I know a lot! Let's just make a new painting, that one looks like something Riki would do." He laughed, starting to paint different things on the canvas.
"Okay...?" Jungwon sat next to Jay as he took a paintbrush, coloring the stuff Jay has painted. "Park Jongseong."
"Hmm?" Jay asked, accidentally spilling the glass of water for painting on Jungwon's lap. "Shit!" With his widened eyes, he looked at Jungwon staring at the water sink in on his pants.
Jungwon locked eyes with Jay as he faked a smile. "Do you know how much I hate you?"
Jay blinked in confusion as he stood up, getting ready in case Jungwon plans to chase him around. "H-how much...?"
"Do you wanna know?" Jungwon smiled, standing up from his seat to chase Jay. "Come here, I'll tell you!" He then started running around the empty and dark arts room with Jay.
"Yang Jungwon, spare me! I'm already helping you with your artwork!" Jay screamed as he threw Jungwon his handkerchief so he can wipe the spill from his pants. "I'm gonna head home now, haha! You can't follow me home!"
Jungwon stopped running, picking up the handkerchief that fell on the floor. He then watched Jay run for his life through the corridor. "Gosh... why does everyone have to be so annoying?"
— end of the flashback.
"Really? Maybe that's why you came home during dawn." Sunoo remarked as he watched Jungwon squeeze Jay's handkerchief. "Do you know how scared I was last night? That was my first time sleeping without you in the room!"
Jungwon blinked, staring at Sunoo with worry. "You were scared?" He then held the elder firmly in the shoulders. "How scared were you? Did something happen last night?"
Sunoo burst out laughing after seeing Jungwon's worried face. "Haha! I'm just kidding, Don't worry! I did miss you but I wasn't scared at all. I had a 3-hour call with that loser."
"Oh..." Jungwon slowly let go of Sunoo's shoulders, avoiding his gaze. "I see. I forgot that you were dating him."
"Fake dating!" Sunoo whispered, clarifying things properly as he looked around to see if anyone heard it. "I hate Park Sunghoon so much but I hate Nishimura Riki more, okay? If it weren't for what Park Sunghoon did to me, I would've gone on with my daily routine of slapping Nishimura Riki 24/7!"
Jungwon laughed, nudging Sunoo with his elbow. "So you hate Park Sunghoon now, huh? It wasn't long ago when I always hear you saying 'Ah! I love Park Sunghoon so much!'"
"Stop that!" Sunoo frowned, hitting Jungwon on the arm. "I can't believe he's in the same class as Nishimura Riki. That means I'll have to see him when I go to their studio!" He sighed with disappointment.
"Good Morning!" Ni-ki knocked on the art room, sticking his head in to find for Sunoo. "I'm sorry if I'm interrupting your class right now but can I please talk to Kim Sunoo for a moment?"
The entire class started nudging their seatmates, squealing at how cute the school's new couple is.
"I guess you won't have to see Park Sunghoon. Looks like Riki will go to you on his own." Jungwon muttered, watching Sunoo walk towards the door to meet Ni-ki.
Ni-ki and Sunoo bowed down in front of everyone, closing the door as Ni-ki pulled Sunoo to a corner. Sunoo removed his hand from Ni-ki's grip, looking around in case someone's listening.
"I was having classes, you know? Why did you just—"
"Shush. I need to tell you something important." Ni-ki clasped his hand over Sunoo's mouth, shutting the elder from talking. "Anyways, I'm one of the people in charge of the freedom wall for the Winter Festival, and Uhm... Well, Sunghoon dropped an entry earlier."
Sunoo raised an eyebrow as he removed Ni-ki's hand from his mouth. "Did you read it?"
Ni-ki rolled his eyes, punching Sunoo gently on the shoulder. "Of course, I read it. How was I gonna stick it to the wall without reading it then, huh?"
"So what did it say?" Sunoo returned the punch on Ni-ki's shoulder but instead, it was very hard.
"Ow!" Ni-ki frowned as he turned around to avoid Sunoo's gaze. "I won't tell you anymore."
Sunoo shook Ni-ki hardly, forcing him to tell him. "Come on! I need to know everything about him! We won't stop fake dating if he doesn't get a taste of his own medicine. I'm not even sure if he's aware that we're dating!"
"Okay, okay!" Ni-ki took a deep breath, preparing to tell Sunoo everything. "The paper said 'Hello, Jake! I know we're just friends but I've liked you since I came to this school. If you know who I am, I'd like to ask you to join me in the upcoming best campus couple awards.'" He paused, scratching his head as he tried to process everything. "I think they're joining that weird couple award show thingy."
Sunoo's jaw dropped as he listened to Ni-ki. "He has a crush on Jake? All this time? No wonder why he played with me." He scoffed, looking at Ni-ki with rage visible in his eyes. "Hey, are they still accepting couples to join that award show?"
"I think so? The people under business are handling the show and Jake's one of them if I'm not wrong." Ni-ki remarked, still not knowing what Sunoo was planning. "Oh wait, I think they're only accepting until today."
"Then let's go!" Sunoo smiled, holding Ni-ki's hand.
Ni-ki scoffed, rolling his eyes as he ruffled Sunoo's hair. "You're one amazing loser, don't you think? I'm not coming with you."
"I didn't ask for your opinion. You're coming with me whether you like it or not." Sunoo's smile widened as he tightened his grip on Ni-ki's hand, running to the Business Classroom with him.
