"Everyone has to help prepare the hall later. We'll exhibit our canvases there for tomorrow's festival." Heeseung exclaims with an intimidating look, scaring everyone into joining the preparation. "It is expected that everyone will be busy in preparing the hall. No one will give me excuses, okay?"
"Sheesh, Hee's a little scary today," Sunoo whispered to Jungwon as he moved his seat closer to him. "I stayed at their dorm yesterday yet he's acting like we didn't have fun watching the movie together."
Jungwon nodded without saying a word. He just watched Sunoo as if he was hesitating to ask him something. "Sunoo... why didn't you come home yesterday?"
"Hmm?" Sunoo scratched his head, confused about what Jungwon means. "You said I shouldn't come home yesterday. I told you I stayed with Hee, Shim Jaeyoon, and Riki. Why?"
"I told you to come late, I didn't say you shouldn't come home." Jungwon smiled awkwardly. "Don't you remember what day it was yesterday?"
Sunoo raised an eyebrow, trying to think of possible celebrations from yesterday. "I don't remember..." His jaw then dropped as he held on to Jungwon tightly. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I forgot yesterday was our friendship anniversary!"
"You forgot about it." Jungwon laughed painfully as he got pulled into a tight hug. "It makes me sad that you forgot about us but you don't need to worry!"
"Of course, I'm going to worry! I remember how much you decorate the dorm for our friendship anniversary." Sunoo pouted, Jungwon ruffling his hair. "Did the preparations come to a waste then?"
Jungwon let go of Sunoo as he hung his head low. "Not really."
— flashback: last night
"I felt my Jungwon senses tingling!" Jay broke into Jungwon's dorm, surprising the younger. "I knew it! Is there something wrong?"
Jungwon burst out laughing after seeing Jay covered in snowfall. "Why would you think something's wrong? Did you come here without even thinking of wiping the snowfall off your clothes?"
"I told you, I have Jungwon senses! They tell me when something's wrong with you." Jay took off his coat, leaving them on the sofa nearby. "So, what's wrong today?"
"You're weird." Jungwon drank a glass of water, trying to avoid the awkwardness between them. "There's nothing wrong here. You should just go home."
Jay took a glance at Jungwon's phone, seeing all the missed calls he gave to Sunoo. "Hmm, I see. There's nothing wrong, huh?"
"I called Sunoo dozens of times and so what? That doesn't mean there's something wrong already." Jungwon took his phone and hid it in his pocket. He then looked around, his cover being blown after Jay saw all the decorations in the room. "I—"
"He won't come. Ni-ki told me they're staying at Jake and Hee's dorm." Jay stood up and sat on the seat next to Jungwon. "What day is it supposed to be anyway? Do you need to decorate this much? It'll all just be a waste."
Jungwon rested his head on the table. "It's supposed to be a friendship anniversary between Sunoo and me."
"Really?" Jay nodded as he ruffled Jungwon's fluffy hair. "Since we're friends, let's call this our friendship anniversary!"
"Who said we're friends?" Jungwon scrunched his nose, taking off Jay's hand from his hair. "I don't even consider you close to me."
Jay scoffed, laughing his energy out. "Ey, stop acting like you don't like being with me. Come on, let's make this story ours."
"You amaze me sometimes— Hey!" Jungwon screamed as soon as Jay pulled him out from his chair. "What are you trying to do?"
"Let's dance! Besides, we're friends now. You just don't want to say it." Jay winked as he danced crazily in front of the latter. He then glanced at Jungwon who just stood there while laughing at him. "Come on, you're wasting time at a party like this! Groove with me."
Jungwon started dancing as well. Jay's right, he shouldn't waste the time he used to decorate this room. "Maybe I should stop overthinking about Sunoo for a while." He muttered with a huge smile.
Jay smiled back as he held onto Jungwon's hand. "And maybe you should think about me more often, haha."
"I'd rather solve math equations than hang out and think about you." Jungwon stuck his tongue out, preparing to take flight from Jay.
"What did you say? I'm having fun here with you and that's all you're gonna tell me?" Jay started chasing Jungwon around the dorm. "Come here right now!" He laughed as he pulled Jungwon into a tight back hug.
— end of flashback.
"Ah, I see." Sunoo nodded his head as he tried to process the story Jungwon said. "It seems too good to be true. It sounds like the main character moment. Are you sure you aren't the protagonist?"
"Me? The protagonist?" Jungwon shrugged as he laid his head down on the table. "Thank you, but I don't think I can consider myself one."
"Of course, you are! Stop being sad about it." Sunoo then checked his watch, jaw-dropping after realizing what time it is. He suddenly held firmly on Jungwon's shoulders which confused the latter. "Won, I need your help. We're friends, after all, right?"
Jungwon knew right there and then that Sunoo probably needs something. "Yeah, why? Is there something you want to do—"
"Please cover up for me. If Hee notices I'm gone, tell him excuses as long as they aren't absurd." Sunoo smiled as he let go of Jungwon, taking some of his things with him. "I'm going to watch Riki's pre-recording for tomorrow."
"Ah, Riki," Jungwon remarked as he watched Sunoo wear his coat. "It's always going to be him now, huh?" He muttered to himself.
Sunoo finally got prepared and was ready to sneak out from the art room. "Thank you, Won. I'll meet you after classes." He then waved Jungwon goodbye as he crawled out of the classroom.

"Ah! Sunghoon was so handsome!" The crowd squealed after Sunghoon finished his recording. The screams and excitement were heard throughout his performance, which makes him very proud. "Sunghoon, you're the best!"
Sunghoon came down from the stage, greeting all the people who supported him. "Thank you for watching me today! I hope all of you will be present at the festival. Don't forget to vote for me~!"
"Yes! Of course, we will!" They then left the audience, following Sunghoon back to the main building. The entire hall was almost left empty because of this.
"Nishimura Riki, come to the stage. We'll record your performance now." The coach stated as Ni-ki went up to the stage. He looked at the latter, personally excited for his performance. Although Ni-ki might not be famous like Sunghoon, the coach finds Ni-ki very skilled and he likes him because of that. "Are you ready?"
Ni-ki took moments to reply, trying to find his mom through the little crowd. "Hold on, coach."
"Do you have someone to support and watch you today?" The coach asked as Ni-ki hung his head low. "Hmm, it seems like you don't. It's okay, don't worry! Just focus on your performance and don't let this take over your confidence, okay?"
"Okay!" Ni-ki took a deep breath, going to his starting position.
The coach fixed the camera to focus it diligently on Ni-ki. "I'm going to start now, Fighting!" He then left the camera to begin playing the music. "Oh, it seems like it'll snow today. If that happens on Nishimura's recording, it'll be very legendary."
"Wait! Riki, I'm here!"
Ni-ki looked at the crowd after hearing someone call his name. Just in time, Ni-ki smiled with his confidence growing again as soon as he saw Sunoo waving his hands up in the air.
The moment you came, it felt like a magical moment to me. Your voice echoed through my ears, you were the only one I could see.
And that's when our third snowfall began.
