Chapter 11

Meera's POV:

After dinner we sat on the floor near the balcony feeling the cool breeze I smiled to myself. Looking up at the stars, I thought how in just seconds my life changed. Where have I come? How did come here?.

"Meera there's one more major important thing you need to know about my life". He said suddenly bringing me out of thoughts.

I looked at him and nooded my head. But why do I feel its something more than important.

"I...actually... mmmm that's I....
He is fumbling.

"Why are so nervous? Whatever it is just say it!" I said giving him some confidence.

He closed his eyes taking a deep breath.

"It's about your family? right? I know it's going to be very difficult to tell them?"
I asked and looked down.

"No...not exactly, they are not that big problem. I'll tell them once we reach home. They will understand our situation". He said calmly.

"Wait, don't tell me you have a girlfriend whom you promised to get married to and all?"
I asked coming forward in a worried way.

"What? No ....nothing like that".
He said with a chuckle.

"Then? You love someone?"
I whispered wanting a negative answer.

"Yes, I love her with all that I have!" He said with a bright smile.

I don't know why my heart crushed into pieces hearing his sentence. I wanted to burst out and cry but controlled my emotions.

I took a deep breath and asked him calmly.
"So, mind telling me about her?"

"That's what I said it's important for you to know about my past and present life". He said being serious.

I just nooded. My heart is paining, God give me strength. I mentally prayed.

"When I was 12 years old my mom left us for another guy. My dad brought me up with a lot of difficulty. But never made me ask for anything. He gave me the best things possible. But he mostly used to be out on work so I lived with his younger sister means my aunt and her family.

They were very nice to me, I never missed mom because of her. She had a daughter my cousin sister and a second mother to me. She's elder than me and loves me alot.

After I completed my graduation. I got a job as a trainer in this very company. Dad had stopped working since and started to stay with my aunty. I shifted from there since office is close and started to have a good life.

Suddenly one day, my dad called me and told me to come over to my aunty's house immediately. After work I straight went to her house.

As I entered in my sister took me to the room and told me to get ready fast. I had no clue as to what was happening. I just did as I was told. And then ......

He stopped and closed his eyes taking a breath.

I don't know why I feel so wired but there is more to come and something big......
I kept quit not saying anything.

He continued again........

"Then, they all took me to some friends house. On the way my sister told me that we are going to see a girl for me. I was more than shocked. I didn't know what to do or say. I was never in any relationship nor I had intentions to be in one. My focus was always on my career. I never put myself into this love and all stuffs".

"Shit, your already married?
That means you have a wife?
And still you married me?
Have you gone out of you mind? What the hell have you done?"
I screamed in one breath and stood up.
