Chapter 32

Meera's POV:

So, finally I'm going home. I just stayed for two days in the hospital. Doctor Prem said I'm fit to go. So today I got discharged and on my way home in the cab as karan's car had gone for servicing.

No one in my family knows about this incident. Only Rita knows everything. My brother, aunty and sister in law didn't get to know anything Karan made sure of that.

Rita came and saw me today before my discharge. She is going back to our village as her brother is going to get married.

Shubam and Manvi came to see me the day I woke up, they even shared the great new about their wedding. They are getting married next month. So they were overjoyed to know that I'll be present there.

Shockingly Mr.Kumar also came to see me in the hospital. The man who tried to hit on me is now looking at me with so much respect and honor. He told me that Karan even got proof of Shakthi blackmailing him and taking over the company and gave it to the cops. So now he has got his company back.

In order he has given Karan a hike in post and salary. I'm happy would be an understatement. I'm more than that. I'm so proud of him. Even Radha Didi and her husband came to see me. She told me how Karan was in the hospital and managed home plus office.

I seriously felt lucky to have him in my life.

He slowly held my and I looked at him. He raised his eyebrows asking me what?. I shook my head as nothing and moved closer to him, I encircled my hand in hid arms and rested my head on his shoulder.

He kissed my hair and intertwined our fingers. Looking by the passing road I slept off.

Soon after some time, he woke me up saying we've reached home.

He payed off the driver and Shubam came down to receive us. He held my hospital bag from Karan as Karan helped me get out. I got out, stood taking a deep breath.

"Finally, our tigerious is home".
Shubam said and side hugged me.

I laughed and greeted him.

"My tigerious!" Karan said in my ears.

I looked at him shockingly but blushed hard.

I looked around the society. Nothing has changed it's all the same. I'm feeling like it's been years since I've been here.

Both Karan and Shubam helped me walk upto the lift. We went in and came upto our floor. We walked till our door.

I can see the door is decorated with flowers hanging in both the sides, like they hang in weddings. I looked at Karan and Shubam wiredly.

Shubam rang the bell as we stood infont. The door was opened by Karan's dad.

"Finally my daughter in law is back fit and fine". He said looking at me smiling.

"Yes she is home safe and sound!" Said Param uncle.

"See Tarun Mami is back home!"
He said caring Tarun in his arms.

Tarun gave me a flying kiss and I returned it back to him.

Moha uncle called me his daughter in-law? I'm so happy, he finally accepted me. I thought smiling.

"Aha...ha not only yours bhaiya!
She is our daughter in-law".
Bharti aunty came saying from the back.

She came infornt holding a plate of arrthi in her hands. She stood and welcomed me fully like they welcome a newly wedded bride.

"The first time you came home, I couldn't do all this. So I thought not to loss this opportunity". She said with tears in her eyes.

She kept a small pot of rice on the threshold and a plate of red vermilion water and told me to push the pot slowly with my right toe and stamp the water and walk into the house. All these are bridal rituals which is supposed to be done by her in-laws. I know everything because we did it for my sister in law.... and now I'm totally feeling new.
