the gang meeting had ended, and y/n and takemichi were walking home from the shrine. their houses were in similar directions so they stuck together, while hina had gone a different way.

"sorry for not telling you... but i sort of accidentally went back to the future..." takemichi said out of absolutely no where. y/n sniffed a laugh.

"of course you did." she said, and takemichi smiled.

"that's exactly what you said in the future." he said, and y/n smiled too.

"by the way, there's been a change of plans."

"how so?"

"i spoke to akkun in the future, and he said that draken's death was what made mikey turn so evil. naoto and i figured out that during a conflict between their factions, draken died, on august 3rd."

"isn't that when mikey said toman was having a huge brawl?"

"yeah..." takemichi was really confused by all of this, "so, does that mean draken dies in the fight with mobius?"

"i dunno, man." y/n shrugged. she wanted to help, but she didn't know how.

"my deductive skills aren't up to this at all!!" takemichi groaned.

"oh! i've got it!" he changed moods instantaneously, "i'll become draken's bodyguard!!"

"are you crazy? that's stupid. he's like three times your size, dude." y/n turned his idea down.

"well, in the end, i can't determine which event is going to kill him. so if i stick with draken the entire time... if it was the fight with mikey, i'll just stop them. if it's the fight with mobius that killed him, i can deal with that, too!" he smiled proudly, liking his own idea.

"what if he says no? i don't think he needs a bodyguard that's weaker than him. and no offence takemichi, but what makes you think you can single handed it stop mikey and draken from fighting? or stop someone from killing him during a big fight?"

"hmph. that's not very helpful." he pouted and turned away.

"c'mon man, you can still ask him, but i bet he'll say no."

"what do i do then?" takemichi was very eager to hear your ideas.

"then... you can follow him around, and see if he's having a fight with mikey. 

"if he is, find out what it's about and make a decision based of that." y/n suggested.

"and if it's the brawl, then i'll be his bodyguard!" takemichi clenched his fist in the air.

"i mean... sure. just make sure he doesn't get stabbed or something."

"oh, this is my house. thanks y/n. i knew telling you wouldn't be a dumb mistake!" takemichi said as he ran into his house, while y/n sighed at his unintentionally backhanded comment.

"you're a weird dude takemichi."
