I live here in the city of London and am managing a flower shop my Grandmother built.

I just finished taking a bath and now I'm off to go to Mrs. Woven to deliver her flowers.

"Hey Isla. Off to deliver flowers?" then there's Jake. He's been my friend since we were young and also the person to take care of me when Grandma passed away. He has been close to grandma too, and also he knew about grandma's favorite fairytale.

"Isla? Hey!" I got interrupted by the flashbacks and didn't notice Jake.

"Oh sorry. Yes I'm going to Mrs. Woven to deliver these lovely tulips." I replied.

"Need a ride? I just got this fixed last Saturday." He offered and took the flowers I was holding and put them in the basket of his new-fixed bike or whatever.

"Let's go?" I got on his bike and left. It's been so long since I last rode his bike and it still feels comfortable. The summer air breeze as Jake keeps pedaling his bike. If grandma was still alive, she would take me to her favorite pâtisserie shop. Speaking of that pâtisserie, I think I just remembered the scent of my favorite freshly baked madeleine cookies.

"Jake, can we pass by douce pâtisserie before we head home later?" I ask Jake if he can drive up until the pâtisserie shop.

"Sure, are you hungry?" he asked me and smiled.

"Yeah, I miss the madeleine cookies they baked there."

"Ok then."

It was around 6 when I finished the orders and so we headed to the pâtisserie shop. My money is more than enough to buy those £10.00 madeleine cookies for two people.

"Welcome to douche pâtisserie!" I heard the staff welcoming us as we entered the building. I went to order and instructed Jake to sit down and wait for me.

"Ms. Camelia, am I right?" the cashier called my name.

"Oh yes, you know me Madame?" she chuckled and nodded.

"Of course, how could I forget? You were still young back then when Madame Amanda would come here and order your favorite madeleine cookies." she added.

"Oh right."

"Is it still your favorite?" she asked again.

"Yes, I would like to order two boxes of those madeleine cookies." I said in reply.

"Here you go Miss. That would be £10.00." she said and handed me the boxes.

"Eh? Madame I ordered two boxes, if I didn't forget."

"Come on, it's been so long since you visited. Don't worry about it lady." she said and signalized me that it was her treat.

I finished ordering and was about to call Jake when I didn't see him at the table I told him to sit. I looked outside but he was nowhere to be found. I got on his bike and waited.

"Oh sorry Isla, I just went to buy coffee. Did I make you wait?" I heard a familiar voice so I turned around and saw him standing politely. God is he really this handsome?

"Hey, how can you leave without giving me notice? I really thought you left me." I shouted at him but he just gave me a smile.

"Let's go home." I added and he nodded.

"Yes madame." I heard him whisper those words but I just ignored it.

At home

"Here's your coffee, my lady." he said and offered me a cup of coffee.

"Thank you Jake." I replied and sipped in my coffee. Woah, this aroma is cool.

"I knew you'd like it. You can enjoy it with those cookies." he said suddenly. Wait, did he just read my mind? He then laughs and sips at his coffee.

"Really Jake?" I madly looked at him but he just kept laughing. What's wrong with this man?

"Nothing."

"Argh."

"Calm down Isla, you know I'm just joking around."

"Get lost, idiot." I said and went upstairs.

"Ok ok. Enjoy your coffee my lady. I'll get going now." I heard him get up and walk away and shut the door.
