After that day, Isla and I would always go to the palace library. I always come to visit her and start to solve our problems. I've been searching for books of miracles, magic, rebirth to another world and so many things.
And one day.
"Hey Isla, I found this-" I found her asleep on her desk with a book below her face. I can see how she's peacefully asleep, she looks so innocent with those eyes.
"You look lovely." I whispered as the air from the window passed on us and her hair flying in the wind.
The next day I came to the palace again but Ivy said that the princess wasn't around and was with her Father to visit her Grandmother. That day, I couldn't help but miss her. I don't even know why, but maybe because we're creating a friendship. Two weeks will be long. How should I wait for her?
"Young master? You have been always looking out the window until now. The rain won't just stop, don't you think?" Ben, our butler suddenly approached me.
"Hey Ben, is two weeks over yet?" I faced him with a worried look.
"You still have three days, before you can see Her Majesty." he added. Wait what? How did he know?
"Then I'll leave you for now, young master." he said and closed the door.
Argh. What is wrong with me? This feeling. This isn't just any friendly feeling right?
Aisla, why are you doing this to me?
"Dylan."
"Aisla?" I turned around but saw Father.
"Oh, Father, you're back?"
"Are you expecting another acquaintance then?" he replied.
"Oh and did I hear it right? Aisla? Were you expecting the Princess, young man?"
"It's nothing, Father. You must be tired. Why don't I uh, prepare you some tea?" I pushed him away downstairs and prepared the coffee and tea.
"So, son. Perhaps, you wanted to say something to me?" He started the conversation while I was sipping my coffee. I pretended not to burst it out and speak.
"W-what do y-you mean, Father?" he chuckles as I pretended to be numb in front of him.
"Oh come on son, you've been hanging out with the princess lately, don't you?" he added and sip on his tea.
"Yeah, you're right, w-were just friends, f-father."
"Oh really?" he added and stood up and I gave him a nod.
"Then, are you expecting from Lady Helena, as soon as she comes back?" I surprisingly got choked by what he said.
"Helena? Is s-she coming back?"
"Yes, she's coming tomorrow."
"Oh alright." I felt sad after hearing those words from Father.
Helena. She has been to the US after her fifteenth birthday. She must have changed now.
"Oh come on son, you've been hanging out with the princess lately, haven't you?"
"Yeah, you're right, w-were just friends, f-father."
I must have just said that I have feelings for the Princess. *sigh*
