God Isla, you've just gone too far!
Mackenzie talking from the telephone.
"Come on Mac. He keeps pissing me off. It's annoying." I replied but she just stayed silent.
What if he just really likes to annoy you, maybe he's up to something you may not know.
Really Mac? Argh!
Anyways, I can't come visit you tomorrow, sorry honey. Advance happy birthday.
"Thanks. No need to worry at all, I have Jake with me tomorrow for sure." I said sarcastically and ended the telephone call.
Let's just go out, Gumi.
What if he just really likes to annoy you, maybe he's up to something you may not know.
Nonsense!
*door opens*
"Gumi!" my cat ran away as the door opened.
"Who the hell open-" a man stood up right at the door holding Gumi.
"Hey uhm, here's Gumi. I'm sorry." Jake handed my cat as he was about to leave.
"Hey, you just got here. You must have something to say or-?" I regretted speaking when he suddenly chuckled.
"Well yeah, I was about to ask if you want to ride our bikes to St. James Park?"
"Oh sure. I was just about to go out." I replied. Is he asking me for a date? Oh shut up Isla you hate him. He's annoying.
"Great! Then-" I went out and ignored him and hopped on my bike. I still heard him laugh a bit but I went away.
He just keeps talking and me? I was just listening to him the whole time.
"Here we are, my lady, welcome to St. James Park!" he said as if he was a tour guide.
"Tch, I'm not new here or something." I replied and clicked my tongue. He started laughing which is his favorite hobby. And as he laughs I can see butterflies around the place.
No no Isla what the-
"Oh something's in your hair Isla." he added and ran his hand towards my hair. I stared at him as he fixed my hair.
This man is really making my heart beat. He shines as if he was a mirrorball. He smiles and laughs so genuinely. Am I really falling for him? Am I really falling for this London Boy?
The day ended and we were heading back home when suddenly he stopped his bike and turned his face to me.
"What's wrong? L-let's g-go." I stuttered as I talked. He left his bike and walked to where I was. He pulled out a box and handed it to me.
"Happy Birthday Isla." he replied.
"Let me put it on you." he added and he put the necklace on my neck.
"It's beautiful." I said and looked at the necklace which had a crown design.
"Just like you." he added again that made me look at him but only saw his smile.
"Thank you." I thanked him and sat on the bench. Now we're both sitting on the bench. I was about to cut the silence but he started talking.
"That necklace really suits you. I guess it was fate."
"Huh? Fate?" out of curiosity I asked.
"Yup. Well, that was my Grandmother's."
"W-what?"
"It once belonged to her. She gave it to me when she passed away."
"Oh. Why didn't I see or know her when we were young?"
"She never left home. She remained there because of Grandfather."
"Oh that's why."
"She told me to give the necklace to a girl I treasure the most." I glanced and saw him blushing.
Waahhhh isn't this embarrassing.
"O-of course I-I'm your friend. You should treasure me the most since we've known each other for so long." I just said and averted my eyes.
"You're right haha. Let's go?" he replied and stood to prepare his bike.
