"Am I going to the Palace again?" Once more, she acts like a little girl ready to see the world.
"Yes, Her Majesty has given you an invitation to visit the Palace again."
"Waahh, it feels like a dream Auntie!"
"You must go. My Lord, take care of Helena."
"Yes, I will."
"Son." I turned around to face my father.
"The necklace, okay?" giving me a cue to give the necklace to Helena.
[Palace Garden]
"Thank you for accepting my invitation, Lady Helena."
"It is my pleasure, Your Majesty."
"Oh, and this is for you. I prepared it last night, thinking I might see you again." I saw Helena bring a box and give it to Aisla.
"Thank you. It's beautiful."
"I do hope you like it."
"Of course I do."
"Would you like me to put it on you, Princess?" I saw Atticus putting the necklace on Aisla. What would have happened if I was the one to put my mother's necklace on you Aisla?
"Thank you, my Lord."
I glanced at Helena looking at them and admiring them. As if she has seen a great couple. I looked at the box where my mother's necklace is kept.
"What's that?"
"Oh it's nothing Helena."
"Is that for me?" Helena exclaimed full of excitement. The Princess and the Lord suddenly looked at us. This is truly embarrassing.
"Y-yes, let me put it on you." I open the box and pick the necklace. I acted like I have to put it on Helena, when the truth is, it's for the Princess, Aisla.
"Dylan, it's beautiful."
"It's from my Mother's."
"The necklace has been passed on from generation to generation. So you take care of it." she nodded as she admired it.
"And it is said to give it to the woman you treasure the most." I added and stared at Aisla. She's just looking at me too but she doesn't seem happy.
I'm sorry, my Princess.
Aisla's Point of View
"Is that for me?" I heard Helena exclaim as she looked at Dylan. I looked at where Dylan is and saw him holding a box.
"Y-yes, let me put it on you." He opened the necklace and put the necklace on Helena. T-the necklace.
"Dylan, it's beautiful." I can see how Helena was amazed by the necklace.
"That was-" I whispered but Dylan started talking.
"It's from my Mother's."
"The necklace has been passed on from generation to generation. So you take care of it."
"And it is said to give it to the woman you treasure the most." By hearing those words, I looked at Dylan, who is now looking at me too.
"Excuse me for a while." I excused myself and called Ivy.
"Your Majesty. It looks like the Lord really treasures Lady Helena. He even gave her his Mother's necklace. What a sweet lad!" I remain silent as Ivy keeps talking.
"Uhm, your majesty? Apologies if I kept talking-"
"Is she lovely?"
"Pardon?"
