THIRD PERSON POV
Dyami, the present chief and alpha's brother spoke from the back of the room. It was unusual for him to give any form of input while the council was convened. This was why his brother along with the rest of the room looked in his direction, the topic at hand seeming to have piqued his interest.
"I agree with Dyami, the girl should be mated with the Alpha's eldest son, Rasief. As he will be the next in line for the position." Silence surronded the room as Jakob continued to rally on about his reasons for supporting such decision. After what felt like an eternity of silence there came a voice in the midst of it all.
"With all due respect, no one gets to choose my daughter's fate but the heavens and she herself. We are not livng in primative times and she will not be made into a rearing cattle." Cassidy growled, not caring if her alpha found it disrespectful, after all it was her pup's life on the line and she was not going to let them take it.
A splitting headache and a judicious decision were the one things Alpha Dakota was left with by the end. The prospect of his pup baring an even stronger breed of wolves, did however intrigue the man. Falling short on strength he knew his son was lacking and ultimately inadequate to be the next Alpha. Surely his title would be challenged and ultimately taken from him and their bloodline. This something he knew, they all knew as well. Mating with the gamma's blood, his next generationn of offsprings would be far more powerful than even him, Cheveyo.
"I think you have sorely mistaken Cassidy, my voice is the authority and my words the law of this tribe. My decision is the final and the only one that will be adhered to. Your daughter will mate with my son, the next Alpha and she will produce this pack an heir."

It had been three weeks since the council had made a decision and exactly three weeks, since Adora was last in the presence of the males within her family. Zenith was pissed and so was everyone else, that was everyone except Cheveyo. He was beyond livid at the prospect of his daughter being used as a pawn. His mate was a wreck as she was the only one allowed to visit the girl, within the home of one of the village's healer and elder, Nita as instructed by the alpha.
To enforce his will he had appointed several warriors to the home, all the best of the best including Damien. Given the strict instructions to not allow any one from the Studi's household to enter other than the girl's mother.
Occassioanlly sleeping at the elder's home, was the only means by which her mother was able to offer the child, the comfort she had needed.
It was now Thursday evening, and Cheveyo had tried to sought out his Alpha and friend to once again come to some reasonable conclusion. Like days before though, his request was denied to see his alpha. He was now overly frustrated and stressed about the situation, and the woeful expression his wife wore showed just how much she was being affected. She was the only in their home who was permitted to visit their captive daughter. And, with little doubt he knew that their little girl was suffering and she had a front row seat to see it all.
Howling to the evening sky were her brothers, Zenith had initially started it has a means to release his pent-up emotions. Soon Quentin had followed, and eventually they all joined. It was after all their way of calling her home, to their beast she was lost and needed guidance home and this was their way of guiding her back home. The cries of their wolves could be heard every dawn and every night throughout the village. There were those who sympathized with the boys as they too joined their cries to the sky, one such person was the elder Josie. Whom had also tried to petition their chief in concern of the girl, and just like Cheveyo she was denied.
