ADORA'S POV

"Who are you?"

"य़ोउर्स्." Was the only reply he gave.

'Yours.'

                                                       ********************************************

Confusion, I was very sure had painted my face at the moment. His dialect was very foreign to me, I wasn't sure if he had told me his name or if he was being rude. And if he could tell that I am confuse he made not effort in assisting me.

"I don't understand." He just continued to look at me.

"Do you understand what I'm saying." This time I spoke a bit slower hoping that somehow, that would make an impact. Sighing exasperately my shoulders slummed in defeat realizing he didn't. A soft hiss a few feet away caught my attention, trying to look in that general direction was proven hard thanks to his lofty stature. He was a very tall man, an unnatural one at that, none of the men in my family were this tall not even the Chief of our tribe was.

Now trying once again to see around him, I once again failed. Deciding to just escape his grasp instead  was just futile, has his hands only seemed to grow tighter the more I tried to wiggle my way out.

"You need to let me go." Nothing. Pushing at his chest in an effort to communicate my intent to leave his arms. I struggled until I heard the threatening growl of my brother, which had me stilling for a moment. He on the other hand seem to just pretend that nothing was happening. I was growing anxious by the second, he was being brutish and our language barrier. My brothers were injuried and nonetheless by his hands and here he is refusing to let me attend to them.

"They are hurt I need to get to them, please let go of me." Thrashing against him he looked as if he was about to say something until the crunching of leaves could be heard behind him, then there were the low growls. Turning his head to look just over his shoulder his grip slow loosened on me. Taking the opportunity I retreated from his hold and then made a mad dash to my brothers. Just within reach of Quentin whom was the closest, I felt the unmistakable grip of his arm around my waist.

Quentin went to make a move which his hawk like eyes had caught onto. Not wanting a repeat of earlier I begged him to stop. It was obvious this man, my mate was determined to keep me close, and if it was as I suspected then I may be able to convince him to look after their wounds. He didn't preceive them as a threat that much was clear. Because if he had then they would have been dead long ago. Going limp in his arms an indication of my submission to him, he released that sound once again.

"Please I just need to look at their wounds, they are not a threat and I am not running away. Their hurt I just really need to know that they are okay." I waited hopeful that somehow he would understand what I was saying. Just as I was about to lose the small bit of hope I had, I felt his body move as the muscle around his torso and arms spasm. Closer and closer we got to where Quentin stood until I was directly infront of him. Shifting back a bit I watch as his eyes scrutinize the man that held me against him, as did Marcus and Zenith.

Rubbing his cheek against mine had me startled a bit at first, which had me pulling away. But he didn't seem to mind though as he continued his ministration. Finally, after awhile I was lowered to the ground once again, looking up at him I waited to confirm the meaning behind his actions. And his intention was made clear the moment he gently pushed me toward Quen.

Closing the gap I was roughly pulled toward Quentin as he inspect me as if it wasn't clear that I wasn't hurt. A growl sounded from behind me, but nothing happened I wasn't pulled away and Quen wasn't made to hurt. Stepping out of his embrace, I looked at his bruised face, bloodied with a long gash above his left brow with the underlying question that I was sure was all their minds. Taking a different approach he chose to answer my own silent question.
