"Annabeth?"

"Mhmm."

"Annabeth."

"Yeah?"

"Are you done with your homework?"

Annabeth turned from her desk to look to her right, where Percy was sprawled on her bed, staring at the ceiling.

"I just started Seaweed Brain. I can't finish all of my homework in five minutes." She sighed looking back to her stack of papers and textbooks.

"But you're smart! Not just smart-Athenian smart."

"And you're Poseidon dumb, but I still have more homework."

"Can you take a quick brake? Please?"

Annabeth turned around from her work for a second time and felt her lips pull into a grin. Percy was sitting on the edge of her bed, making his best baby seal face. She gave him a wry grin and tapped her pencils eraser against her chin.

"Should I?" She questioned, enjoying Percy's pleading face.

"Come on Annabeth! Would you rather do homework, or me?"
Annabeth nearly fell out of her chair.

"PERCY!" She yelled, and the realization crept across his face bringing with it a brilliantly red blush.

"OH MY GODS ANNABETH, I DIDNT MEAN-,"

Annabeth laughed so hard tears rolled down her cheeks and her stomach hurt. Percy on the other hand was a flustered stuttering mess trying to explain himself.
She got out of her chair and sat next to her blushing boyfriend pecking his cheek.

"Don't worry Seaweed Brain, I know you didn't mean that," she giggled.

Percy sighed with relief, then a smirk spread across his lips.

"You still didn't answer the question," he grinned, which earned him a smack in the face with a pillow.
